Dumb Design, feature set, price. Not worth the effort. A number of things below can be rectified with one firmware update. - It's a $50-$100 product with heaps of stupid limitations. Junk This didn’t work for me, I spent more time trying to get it to work correctly, it kept shutting down saying it was jammed and it wasn’t jammed at all
Set up from hell I got it to work after 5 hours, giving it static IP addresses on the router and installing it through windows before Brother iPrint&scan recognized it .Be prepared to install, reboot, delete and play with yout while home infrastructure. The scanner itself is good . Not sure how long battery etc lasts
Several Issues Several issues 1. Battery life unplugged was poor. 2. Software supporting the scanner was not user friendly. I found it difficult to connect with the software wirelessly. My goal was a scanner that I could scan receipts quickly. Between the poor battery life, software challenges and problems with wireless connection I wasn't achieving what I had in mind. That is why I returned it. It will scan and you can store receipts on the computer. For the price, it just wasn't worth it for me.

Hours of my life wasted. This is billed as a portable, stand-alone device. As if. First, it cannot be charged by a wall charger. It must be plugged into a computer to charge. So if you planned to take just the scanner on a trip, forget about it. This "feature" is unbelievable. I've never seen a USB device that wouldn't charge with a wall charger. Great mobile product Battery does not charge This product would have been great if it does not require to be plugged in all the time as described the battery suppose to hold up to 300+ pages on a single charge however the batter does not charge at all and this is an outdated USB type of cable I would not recommend this product I'm returning this item and purchasing the brother ADS-1250W (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07FQQHW2T/ref=ewc_pr_img_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&th=1) it's $50 more but for sure worth it
Worst scanner Could not get the software installed nor would it scan. After trying to get it to work for two hours I gave up and sent it back!
horrible would not scan without much clicking and looking and adjusting. the cover would not open fully so had to pull the picture out every time which caused distortion. too hard to understand and manual too hard to get. I do not recommend this at all
