you should invest in a better product. I would not reccomend this I returned this the day I opened the box. Incredibly difficult to set up wirelessly. Slow and laborious process. This is what you get when you are being penny wise and pound foolish. For a few documents every now and then, it's ok. But if you have large volume and photos, you should invest in a better product. I would not reccomend this.

Scanning - AWESOME .... Longevity - FAILURE! Scanning - AWESOME .... Longevity - FAILURE! This scanner was used moderately for the last few years and treated very tenderly - looks brand new! Not Worth the Money! After doing a lot of research, I purchased the Brother DS-920//DW wireless portable scanner. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY on this product. I specifically looked at Brother portable scanners since I have had other Brother products which have worked very well and lasted a long time in my home office. had two RMA with this device trying to figure out ... had two RMA with this device trying to figure out how to use MENU button. doesnt scan receipts well or even to acceptable level, wifi ad-hoc only, software made by students, read other reviews for more details...
Gimmick As a "geek", I am often a sucker for an overpriced gadget. That being said, this is the WORST disappointment I've had, and at quite a hefty price. I have a handheld "wand" scanner that works dependably, so I foolishly thought that spending more money for a Brother product would provide an even easier interface and a higher quality scan. Did not work as I interpreted the description. You ... Did not work as I interpreted the description. You have to scan (wireless) to the SD card and then hook up via wifi to transfer the image(s). It was very unreliable hooking up to the wifi. It also tries to get you to download multiple programs which are confusing and tend to eat up your memory. Returned.
