Worthless due to built in faded image routine, and overwhelmed support service. Just wasted 3 hours charging, setting up, calibrating, downloading manuals & drivers, and trying to fix a stupid design mistake. In the SD mode (not connected to a PC), all image backgrounds are very grey. Re-calibrating does not help. There is nothing about the problem in the user manual, or device menu. Two Stars It was a little confusing, can't get the full benefit.
Poor made After a year and 5 months of minimal use, the USB port on the scanner broke. I really don't know what happened to it. Its like the connecting piece inside the scanner just disappeared / fell inside the scanner housing. I've only used it 25 -30 times. Functionally it worked well until this happened. Called customer service but its beyond the one year warranty period so there is nothing they can do. Its obvious that the USB connection inside the unit is poorly made or poorly mounted. I will look for a better one later on It not what I thought it would be. But it will work for me for now. I will look for a better one later on. The color on this scanner is best with picture & your doc. colors are not to good. This is best for scanning black and white & color pictures only.
Always problematic, wireless connection almost impossible, jpeg/pdf button ... Always problematic, wireless connection almost impossible, jpeg/pdf button took multiple attempts to engage. Scanner not recognized at all by the computer after a few weeks, despite multiple rebootings. When it did scan, it seemed to function well but it was very slow compared to another portable scanners. It is now in the trash.
Junk quality, absolutely HORRID software. Avoid at all costs! It's pretty rare I write scathing reviews, however this is going to be one of those cases. The cons for this scanner well outweigh the pro's. Two Stars Didn't work right
terrible purchase This was a waste of money. It worked for one time and now the soft ware won't download and it's useless. Unfortunately, it's after the 30 days because I didn't need to scan for a while. So disappointed.
This is not the solution I bought this at Best Buy because they would match the price. But this thing has not made it 24 hours without causing massive aggravation. for me. First you need to scan something. Once it warms up about 30 seconds or so it scans at a reasonable speed......but just 1 page. If you have more pages just to contiunually feed it's ok. If you need to do other work and come back then you have to warm it up again. Don't forget the timer on the middle of your screen that tells you how long you have before war... read more
