I been coming here for years and I love them! They really do care about your pets and it shows. I'm pleased with how they treat my baby and how attentive they are to all my concerns. The staff is so friendly and they look out for you as a costumer. I almost renewed my pet insurance without using all of its benefits, but their lovely receptionist caught it and made sure I got them. Did I mentioned they also offer dental!! If you want to know your fur babies are in good hands, go to East Maryland (:

If I could give MORE STARS, I would. Bree is an exceptional receptionist. Set up my paw plan lightning fast. She must be really good at math. Doctor Clemons is an exceptional doctor. She is very thorough and thoughtful. You can tell the whole staff love what they do. Will be back. Often.

I'm updating my review to say I still go to East Maryland Animal Hospital. I still feel my Rosie still gets the best care possible. She has health problems that have to be monitored. Here and at Dermatology for Animals, which they recommended, I know that happens.

Dr Martens has been our go-to doctor since we first decided to expand our little family 8 years ago. She is incredibly knowledgeable and clearly an expert we will always trust, yet also very empathetic and human in her approach. The communication from her directly as well as the office is always very thorough, they are great at responding to questions or concerns in a timely manor, and also proactively giving updates for any procedure being done. East Maryland & Dr. Martens are the best! It is not often that you dog goes to the doctor & they are excited to be there. Everyone from the front desk to the technicians are friendly & clearly love animals. The team's communication is top notch when having larger procedures done like teeth cleaning (letting us know how it went, when they come out of anesthesia, when they are ready to go home & even a follow up call once we are home to check on them). We highly recommend Dr. Martens & we will never go to anyone else!

I talk a lot about my pets. They are basically my children since I don't have any myself. I have 7 cats and 6 dogs. Ever since we moved to central phoenix about 4 years ago I have brought my fur-family here. I found this clinic because it was near my home and had great online reviews. The ladies at the front desk are always so sweet and patient when I talk their ears off every time they call after an appt to check in on one of my fur babies. Bless them for that lol. So far I've had great experiences with this animal hospital with my new kitten. Everything runs smoothly with the appointment, the desk staff and assistants are very friendly. The veterinarians themselves seem kind of in a rush, but they are patient and answer all the questions. It's good because I'm usually in and out in 30 mins. They also call the next day and see how he's doing which is nice. One minor gripe. They still do this pointless covid precaution where the take my cat to another room to check him out. We love absolutely love East Maryland Animal Hospital. With my dogs' ongoing issues, we are frequent fliers here. They're truly the best animal hospital around - trust me, I've been to a number of them and no one else compares! The receptionists, technicians, and doctors are beyond amazing and provide quality care! My mind is always at ease when taking our fur babies to East Maryland
