The staff at East Maryland are exceptional. I always feel so assured we are in the right caring and knowledgeable hands. Our little Daisy is 12 and has had many health issues, from Valley Fever, to liver issues to bad (really bad) teeth that caused health issues. Every time the staff at East Valley have brought our little girl back to her happy self. We love these people, we'd never take our little Daisy anywhere else. You know you are in good hands when your baby doesn't cower or hide when they go into the vets office.

So very pleased with the uniform kindness of entire staff and Dr. Shroeder as well. My dog was not a bit traumatized. Clean, professional and all staff engaged as though we had been forever friends.

I've been going there for over 8 years now and have been very pleased with how the doctors and the techs show their love of animals. They helped me through one furbaby (a Calico cat) having kidney failure and now are working with me for our other two furbabies ( a Norwegian Forest kitty and another Calico) No matter which doctor you get, they all give the same care and understanding of both our concern for their health and our concern for being able to finance any procedures. The grounds on the outside of the building are clean. The waiting area is clean! Love the free cookies, coffee and pet treats! The staff is welcoming, efficient and knowledgeable. If an insurance claim needs to be filed they will help you through the process of gathering the documentation and faxing the claim sheet for you. They also send you a letter to remind you that you have visits to use if you haven't used them all before the insurance expiration date. Staff are all friendly, patient, courteous and professional. The environment is warm and inviting. Reception and treatment rooms are clean. No parking issues. Overall excellent experience "

Wow! You will always be the doctor for our pet bunny. We took her here for a second opinion after another vet told us she had a terminal illness and suggested that we spend $500 on tests and $120/month on medicine. The doctor here diagnosed her as having "Snuffles" which is like a cold for a bunny. She cleaned out bunny's eye and gave us berry flavored medicine. The EMAH staff are always compassionate, professional and treat you like family (a functional family ;) )! Dr Clemmons is our vet and was instrumental in helping us find a vet oncologist for our little corgi, Gracie! She's passed now after living beyond expectations and we miss her but we have a new opportunity and decided to take this opportunity in the form of a new puppy.
