My dog had an unexpected back injury, and his regular vet at Banfield would not get him in for four more days. I called East Maryland Animal Hospital and they got him in right away and treated us like we've been going there for years. I will no longer take him to Banfield and canceled my wellness plan there. Dr. Schroeder will be his vet from here on out. She's amazing.

East Maryland is and has been our vet hospital for 15+ years. The vets and staff are wonderful. We have 2 elderly (13 years and 15 years), 50 lb. dogs that are doing great in large part to the care they've received at East Maryland. We have brought other dogs and cats for care and have always been treated with care and respe

Called because my 12 year old Schnauzer seemed in distress. They got him in that same afternoon and were able to offer him relief right away. Dr. Martens and the staff were caring and professional. On a previous occasion they took care, in one week, an ear infection that another vet had been unable to cure over several months. They are great. From the first time we come to this facility we were treated as long time clients. The doctors took all the time needed to answer all our questions. The staff both front desk and back office showed through their actions that my companions were loved. And when the time came for one of our beloved Dalmatians to be put to rest. They did so with the dignity and grace we needed to part with him. I highly recommend this hospital to everyone who truly wants a place that shows they care for both your pets and yourself.

My darling cat has had an unexpected, and quick resurgence of her kidney disease. My new Doc in another state wants to make comparisons with her blood levels from prior years. Linda was so very helpful, and pleasant about it!! She even obtained keys to get into old files (from 6 years ago) and found what I needed!! I thought it was a lost cause! She saved the day for me, and was happy to oblige with my crazy request!! Thank you, thank you! This place is totally worth checking out- then you'll be sold!

Helpful staff who is always willing to give the extra time to address my questions & concerns. The office is also close to my home (good area) & have never had a negative experience when bringing Pistachio in for care.

Everything was a very pleasant experience. I needed to reschedule our appt. a few times and the front office staff made it very easy. Nice clean office with no doggie smells... Dr Skirvin was relaxed and listened to my concerns. All in all it was a very nice experience for me and our pet.

i have been going to east maryland since i moved to phoenix almost 6 years ago they were recommended to me by cat fancy site as well as pet resort i left my cats at while i was going thru my move- they have been accurate and caring. Dr Martens is at the same time straight forward and caring. On the whole highly pleased with care and diagnosis for my elderly kitties - nice clean rooms and good care. like the front desk staff and most of the Vet techs i have experienced
