Usually when my cat goes to the vet, they have to gas him and knock him out in order to handle him. I decided to try East Maryland Animal Hospital. For some reason, he was relaxed and allowed the doctor to look him over without him hissing or the need of a sedative. I don't know if they are the cat whisperers or what's up. But if my cat likes them, you should too.

I just picked up my most recent prescription for our Dog Fido. As I sat down for my weekly pill organization session I found that the pain meds had already been cut in half. These little details are what make East Maryland Animal Hospital a worthwhile, necessary, and even enjoyable choice for my pets' wellbeing. My parents went here with my childhood pets when I was growing up and it was a small house. The Hospital, like myself, has grown up. It is now a large facility and is ready to take care of all of my pet's various ne... read more

I appreciate the kindness that all of the staff extend to my family and pets every time we come to East Maryland AH. My Leo is a 'senior' now and we get checkups several times a year. He is always happy to walk through the doors and greet all of his girlfriends. A special thank you to Dr. Martens and Dr. Shroeder... pure angels.

I have visited several of the animal hospitals in the area and have found East Maryland in recent years to be very good all around. This was my 3rd visit to Dr. Clemons in several years. She is compassionate not only to the animal, but also to the owner, who may not have the funds to treat extensively. This is rare, in my opinion, in the Vet business. I highly recommend Dr. Clemons. She is extremely knowledgeable about cat conditions, although she treats all animals. She will work with you and your pet's condition.

Our cat has multiple challenges and the vets at East Maryland Animal Hospital have done a terrific job and helping us manage our sweet boy. This is the first Veterinary Clinic that He feels comfortable in. I know that sounds nuts, but he's super mellow when we come to East Maryland. He thinks he rules the roost. Appointments run on time at this Clinic, it's clean, and the staff and veterinarians are top notch. You can't go wrong here.

Brought my 6 year old Lab mix in for some issues she was having. Staff was very professional and the vet was knowledgeable and caring. Had a really good overall experience here and will come back in the future.

"Compassionate, professional doctors and vet techs, as well as front office staff. Follow-up the day after surgery is amazing--wish our own doctors were as available to us! "

The staff at East Maryland are exceptional. I always feel so assured we are in the right caring and knowledgeable hands. Our little Daisy is 12 and has had many health issues, from Valley Fever, to liver issues to bad (really bad) teeth that caused health issues. Every time the staff at East Valley have brought our little girl back to her happy self. We love these people, we'd never take our little Daisy anywhere else. You know you are in good hands when your baby doesn't cower or hide when they go into the vets office.

So very pleased with the uniform kindness of entire staff and Dr. Shroeder as well. My dog was not a bit traumatized. Clean, professional and all staff engaged as though we had been forever friends.
