We have been seeing Dr. Martens and her staff since the day I brought my dog Cooper home. When Coopers blood work came back with some concerning numbers, they were quick to call and schedule an appointment to further provide care. The compassion and care shown keeps us coming back to Dr. Martens, and he is always treated like one of their own dogs. I can't thank East Maryland Animal Hospital enough for the care provided.

Convenient and seemed to really care about my dog. Didn't try to push dog food or supplements on me. Gave instructions for Benadryl. Definitely going back!

I am new to town and was very nervous when it came to finding a new Vet for my dog. I read nothing but great reviews at this place and decided I would give it a try. My first visit was amazing and they are definitely taking precautions due to Covid by limiting the number of people in the lobby so you don't come in contact with anyone outside of the Vet office. I had my first visit to this animal hospital today. I was beyond impressed! I couldn't be happier with the way they took care of my and my fur baby. Firstly, they were able to get me in quickly. I called on Wednesday and explained my cat had some symptoms so really needed to get looked at. They put me in on the next business day. They retrieved info from my previous vet and actually reviewed my pet's current health concerns. I have had a great experience with East Maryland Animal Hospital since I moved here 2 years ago. They are great with general care, and as my dog developed health issues Dr. Martens was extremely helpful, emailing me relevant information, informing me of options and I could tell she cared a lot about my dog's well being.

I am still beyond impressed with this business. They go above and beyond for both the pets and their human clients:) Doctors are intuitive and continue to take initiative for your pet's needs before you even have to ask. Their are cost conscious and honest about your pets needs. Their vet techs are knowledgeable. Their receptionists are informative, accommodating, patient, and friendly. When we move to Colorado I might have to travel back to Arizona for my vet needs

We are 15 year clients of EMAH; we have never had a bad experience at any time. Our pets receive excellent care, and we have confidence in the hospital staff, all of the doctors and kennel crew. They don't try to upsell, they work us in when there is an urgent issue, and they treat us like "family". We appreciate the very good care for our 2 adopted mutts.

Recently changed to EMAH for our 12-year old Poodle Tillman and 11-year old Bichon Luna's veterinary needs. Both were way overdue for dental care and Luna had skin tags she made sore by licking and chewing. Feb 27th during teeth cleaning procedure Tillman had 1 tooth extracted and a small abscess cleaned and treated; Luna had 7 teeth extracted and 7 growths removed. 2 days later they are doing amazingly well. My littler Archie recovered from a very bad kitty cold after being neutered where he and I met. Your efforts to care for him throughly impressed me and I am very grateful for him being healthier than I ever imagined and found compassionate care.
