Nothing but care and compassion for our furry family members. Dr. Pelayo made a very difficult day as peaceful as it could be, and helped me to find peace in a difficult decision. Hard day but I’m glad they were there to help us through it.

The staff and Vets are so good with our Mara girl and we appreciate how they use care and concern when we visit them.
These Dr's go far and beyond to doctor our cat Bandit. I do highly recommend East Ventura Animal Hosp.
Absolute terror struck when our 4 y/o pup’s paw got stuck in our kitchen drain. I immediately called the office (knowing full well that they would not be able to physically help at that exact moment, but they could emotionally help me). They talked me through each and every step, and graciously supported me through nearly 20 different phone calls, advising to oil my dogs paw (which helped part of the way, call a plumber (which helped part of the way), call the fire department (which ended up being the partial solution). I brought my border collie in for a broken dewclaw. The front staff is very friendly and helpful as my records were transferred from Dr.Payne when he retired. Dr Thomas is super nice and gentle with my girl. She is very informative and was able to answer my questions in a way I could understand.
Dr Fowell and East Ventura Animal Hospital have been our Vet for over 30 years. They provide excellent care to our pets and our foster dogs.

Dr. Fowell is amazing with our Guinea Pigs (we have three). It's great to have an exotic pet veterinarian in town, but one who specializes in guinea pigs is unheard of. We feel so fortunate knowing the health of our precious pets are in the care of the staff at East Ventura Animal Hospital and most importantly Dr. Fowell. She had performed surgery on two of our guinea pigs (one was a spay and the other had and ovarian cyst and a huge tumor she found during the operation).
