Chopstick and I have been seeing Dr Martinez the last year or so and we have been pretty happy with the service and wait time. I feel like the clinic often tries to squeeze me in that day or the next day if I call in. The wait usually isn't terrible. Dr Martinez is caring and doesn't make me feel rush. I moved to Ventura 10 years ago. I took my dog to three different vets before we discovered East Ventura animal hospital. Should always be so scared going to the vets in the past but not that used to Ventura animal hospital. 5 years ago my cat started having stomach issues. She need to see a specialist so we went to the only specialist in town. They diagnosed him with colitis along with a few other things. My favorite vet office of all time. Friendly professional staff. I love them. Dr. Pelayo has been wonderful. They have saved a couple of our dogs too.
I just recently started to come here for my puppy and Guinea pigs, the staff is amazing. I found a kitten that was in bad shape over the weekend and call the vet. With 5 mins before closing their doors they allowed me to bring in the starving kitten. Seeing what the condition of the kitten Doc. Martinez did a full check, gave me food, a care package and was working with me on the price of the exam because he knew I wasn't going to keep the kitten. This is a fantastic facility. The vets and staff truly care about you and your pet(s). They take the time to explain things thoroughly.
Due to having no access to my home during the recent Thomas Fire, EVAH generously took in my two little dogs Pogo and Sprinkles. The staff were caring and considerate of my dogs needs, as well as my own. This vet office is 5 star in my book once again. Thank you all!!
Dr Mike Martinez is the one my cat goes and see so far this vet is good and my cat loves seeing him. She has had one other vet and didn't like him at all me and her both.
The doctors and staff are great. Not too pricey and most importantly, they care about their patients. A keeper.
Dr. Fowell is so great! I have finally found a wonderful bunny vet. I am so impressed by her knowledge and care for my Jillian.
