The staff at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Austin are very customer service oriented. Everyone was so nice and extremely helpful. I was especially blown away by my interaction with Brooke(who I believe holds the title as a liaison/social worker). I contacted them to try and get a family member admitted there for therapy, and although they weren't approved, Brooke was very knowledgeable and did an amazing job on educating me on how the insurance works with rehab centers and what information I'd need in order to ... read more

My grandma was sent her for rehab. They do a great job. The staff ,therapist and nurses are all very friendly. I love this facility it is a great location. The food is very delicious.

Our mom was sent to Encompass after suffering from a major stroke. During the Pandemic, it is difficult to be able to see and know what the care is like within a hospital or rehab facility. But they answered my MANY questions. And they made it possible for my sister and me to participate in two family therapy times, where we spent three hours with our mom and the therapists. We could see their caring relationship with our mom. We could see their expertise. I am deeply grateful for the quality of care offered by the Encompass... read more

Our mom was sent to Encompass after suffering from a major stroke. During the Pandemic, it is difficult to be able to see and know what the care is like within a hospital or rehab facility. My husband had a stroke and a few other medical things going on simultaneously. Encompass was definitely up to the task. I was impressed by their professionalism and caring bedside manners. They took time explaining medication changes to my husband and once his meds were on track I felt confident I could leave him and get much needed rest. Their Rehabilitation physician (what a lovely person), Pharmacist (very down to earth), case manager and Quality Assurance rep all spent individual time with us ensuring he got the medica... read more

I recently spent 8 days at Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital and I have to say it was a great experience. Everything about the facility was pleasant. The nursing staff and the PT & OT staff was top notch. The doctors were great and I was impressed that they cared about you and spent as much time as was needed to make sure you had all your questions answered and you were satisfied with the treatment.
