They wanted $9000 just to be able to give me a professional quote. They said they needed plans drawn up in order to provide a written quote. They did provide a verbal ball park, but that is not what I needed. Estimate for concrete retaining wall, house leveling and new garage floor.

They only thing everlast does consistently is lie. They lied about needing permits to do the work, they lied about getting the permits. They lied about not hiring subcontractors. They lie about their reviews - they post fake reviews on pretty much every website, including angies list. They lied about needing money to speed up the work - took them 6 months to redo a 10x13 kitchen. They demanded money way ahead of the payment schedule. They lost payments we sent them. The tile person was excellent. The job took a lot of time to complete because he had ZERO help. The lower level floors were replaced with tile.

These guys were pretty responsive and professional, but their estimates were many times more the estimates for the same work from other contractors. I feel like I wasted time with them because they wanted way too much and took too long getting their estimates and just forced me to go with someone else. Fixing a number of issues that came up in our home inspection report.

The WORST REMODELING EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER BEEN A PART OF. As others have said, this company is a borderline scam operation. They are good at the sales part of the deal, but then what is actually delivered is far from what was promised or agreed upon. Everlast Construction is a scam. They overcharged us, pressured us to pay for services under the table or they would report mold to the county and then never completed the work they promised(we didn't have mold that was at a reportable level). Unfortunately, we didn't put everything in writing so have no recourse. Now I know to have every aspect of work written down no matter what. Do not hire these guys, they are borderline scam artists. They start demo work right away and then when everything is destroyed, they start demanding money way ahead of the payment schedule. No one actually manages the work. Their idea of managing a project is to hire a subcontractor, tell them to show up and....that's it. Everyone who showed up had no idea what needed to be done, i had to tell them all what to do.
