Astonishing that they wouldn't even consider giving a bid unless they were guaranteed the job. That's beyond unprofessional. I understand if they couldn't meet our deadline or if they did not do this kind of work but forcing people to commit to hiring you before you've given an estimate seems insane. Says they give FREE ESTIMATES –– would not even consider submitting a bid unless I guaranteed them a job.

We signed the contract on April 14th and the project was supposed to have been done by May 29th, it is now the end of July and it is still not finished. We had originally hired them to complete 2 small bathroom remodels, finish out a laundry room, install a 200 AMP electrical panel, a tankless water heater, move a furnace, remove popcorn ceilings and install recessed lights. unknown I received a foundation look through/inspection. They have an inspection. I requested them to email it to me 2 times and never received it. I'm sure they do good work.
The actual work was excellent. The crew led by Ming was very professional and paid a lot of attention to detail. Ming was always available to me by phone and listened to what I wanted and worked very hard to please my every whim. They always showed up when they said they would and for the most part did a good job of cleaning up after themselves. There were a lot of delays that Everlast wasn't responsible for so instead of taking 3 weeks as initially was proposed it took 8 weeks. We had to wait a whole week for a window to be... read more

After my disastrous experience with them, I went back and reread the good reviews. certain they are all fake. All the good reviews are written by non-english speakers, probably from the same country these guys are from. I never got a plan or elevation of the cabinet. I never got specs on the cabinet. I never got a timeline. I never heard from the person who came out. The owner of the the company called me twice to see if I had heard from the representative and was told no. He was very pleasant and said that the cabinet person was ill and could not talk at all, for several weeks apparently. I purchased a special $49 foundation inspection with $100 credit towards repair. I scheduled the inspection with Jay, who came on time. He seemed very knowledgeable and professional, and he recommended a french drain. He gave me a verbal estimate, and said he would send me an email later the same day with a written estimate and more information about the project. I never received an email with this information.
