unknown A contractor came out to evaluate our home for foundation damage and determine how best to fix a door that wouldn't open... We never heard from him again despite multiple follow-up calls from me. He also rescheduled the initial appointment 3 times before finally showing up.

Business response:

Hello, look like we had miscommunication, we are general contractor and we don't dea with handyman work, we suggest you call to handyman that will charge you much less then us and will be able to fix the issue, if you like to fix the foundation that is something else and we will be happy to fix it for you

Can't comment on their quality of work because we never got that far. It was strange. We had two different salespeople come out to our home to visit us. We didn't make a big deal out of it when the first guy blew us off. But then, the second one told us he was the owner, so we assumed everything would be very professional. We made an appointment and took off work. Then we got a call on the DAY OR OUR APPOINTMENT, from a dispatch person telling us that he could not make our appointment. My husband got upset and he eventually ... read more

Hello [Member name removed], I am not sure why you got us this review so fast... We never got a chance to meet with you second time, i would check the voice mail i left you last Friday voice mail and try contact you, you never called me back. I also sent you the list that you asked the day after our meeting.... so i would check emails as well, if you don't have it you could call me and ask me to re send it.

This guy was all full of double-talk without any substance. I, as one who use to do construction, know that this job was extremely easy and shouldn't amount to more than 2 to 3 days for one person. The cost should reasonably have been in the $3,000 to $6,000 range, but after the courtesy of a discount, he asked for a whopping $14,000. What a crock. When I called him the next morning to have him explain why such a high cost, I only got double talk and telling me that it would take a $1,500 dumping fee ( how much material can ... read more

After a first try with one contractor that didn't know what the service was and was not ready to do the correct services, I called the assistant to let her know my disappointment. Quickly, they sent over a new person with more experience, that completed a real foundation inspection with pictures and a report. However, due to the first person and them trying to immediately sell me $13k worth of drainage services with only looking at my crawlspace, I was skeptical of the fairness of any sort of recommendation for services. How... read more

See above. A tall bald Isralie gentleman came out to provide a bid on a seismic retrofit project that was recommended by our home inspector. He was prompt, very professional and able to schedule a quote on short notice. My wife and I found him on Angie's list and after reading through his reviews, and A rating we had confidence that we found a good potential contractor for our project. The gentleman arrived and we explained that we wanted a quote on the seismic retrofit and potentially on 3 bathrooms and a kitchen. But we st... read more

The guy that showed up was quite friendly and personable, but definitely a salesman. He was really trying to push what he had to offer. Normally this is a good thing, but he was just a bit more pushy than I would have liked; again, however, very friendly. The high level review is that you should not trust these guys. While diamond certified and likely to do a quality job, the quotes I got were outrageous. He kept telling me it was "because of the area" but provided no detail about what that meant. The area is nice, but not 1... read more

When he came out to the house he just rattled off double talk and told me that after the discounts he was providing me the job would be $14,000. When I called him to ask for an explanation of the high quote, he just gave me more double talk. Ben, was the representative who came out for Everlast Construction. As an individual who has done construction his whole life, this job should be between $3,000 to $4,000. They provided a bid to open up a wall between two bedrooms, very simple job.

Business response:

Hello [Member Name Removed], i can't find you in our database, We working in California only and your address show that you from AZ. I think you might confused us with another company. thanks

unknown I will start with that to Everlast Constrution's credit, they offered, and I accepted, the refund of the $250 I paid for a house foundation inspection. The inspector was late which I can understand with traffic and multiple inspections to do. I was looking out window waiting for him so I saw him when he arrived. When he got out of his vehicle, he changed his shirt, put on deodorant, combed his hair and put on an ID badge. The crawl space under my house is thru the floor in a bedroom closet. Although he put on a dispo... read more

Business response:

Hi, thank you for your feedback, I want to start with thank you for mention that we offer you refund instantly when you didn't like the report we provided you. We are not inspection company and the report we provide is for clients to know what is the issue with the foundation. We provided you the report as agree on the deal and wrote what we think is wrong and what we think you should do, on top of that we gave you some other solution for prevention for the future to protect your home. thank you for your feedback.

My wife and I had made an appointment to have them come review our home for a remodel project. We are very busy and they were able to accommodate a Sunday morning appointment. 30 minutes prior to the appointment we received a call to reschedule. The reason given is that we did not ?confirm? the appointment after several attempts. 1.) We were called the week prior to schedule an appointment?the appointment was scheduled for Sunday Morning. 2.) We were told that they tried to call us to confirm and left messages?.My wife did c... read more
