The reason for the low stars is that I got my storage unit in April 2022 and was paying $183 all of a sudden I get a text that my payment posted for this month and it went up to $263 it went up $80 . They could have done small increases at a time each month but no from one month to the next $80 more a month. Talk about price gauging its really sad how companies know you need something and so they take advantage of that need.

Horrible customer service horrible electronic locks . Locked out of their electronic lock due to faulty lock. Again third time in 4 days. Manager opened lock last time, replaced battery lock then said hurry up I'm off. Said sorry no tech here. Came back today locked out again. Always giving them my hard earned money. Their service has been horrible the entire time. A guy next-door drilled holes into my stuff I reported that nothing done. They power washed under Door to keep the rodents out they ruined my boxes with their... read more

The manager at this property is really rude. Just rented a unit that's 6 by 12 and realized it's 5 by 12. The manager then proceeded to rudely say to my dad that it's "approximate" could be 6 or less. Seriously?? Be prepared to argue with the manager if you have any issues. I also didn't realize this company (not just this area) is not truthful with their postings. The devil is in the details! Careful

This storage facility without asking or us present broke our lock opened our unit to change it to their new digital lock system that you need to download an app and use your phone to open the unit. We can't even put an additional lock on our storage unit to know its not been opened (like if there was a broken lock). I know we are a digital era but that is not more secure for me at all and I am in my 30s I could only imagine the older generations feeling on this. Pros Place is clean, gated with camera surrounding premises. Cons Some items lost during my term of leasing a space here. When asked if they could provide me some footage from the security camera during that certain period. For some reason they said NOT AVAILABLE. To think that you have to buy your padlock from them, is something concerning. Losing items from your locked space seems to be happening from time to time having observed tenants common complain. It's a rent at your own risk, I guess.

Today I found out my unit was burglarized. Minimal damage to the lock (dezel) cylinder lock. Asked the employee and employee was told by their manager that these types of locks have never been sold at that location. I said that was a lie as this was a brand new lock purchased at the location about 5 years ago and many other storage units had the same key (dezel) cylinder lock. This place is a rip off. I called an got a quote on a storage unit but they were closing. Set up time to see it the next afternoon with an appointment The price had already gone up in The last 12 hours. When I Inquired about the free month rent they said now the price would be even higher in order to get the free month. We finally settled hadn't on the orginal cost but when I went to sign papers it was a higher amount. This ended up being the storage experience from HELL!! The employees tell you so many different fee amounts and the store manager is so rude and abrupt!! I will never rent from another extra space storage unit again!!

The location that I had was an outdoor unit that was inadequately lit, hard to get into, and dusty. I am scheduled to receive the balance of my rent 10 weeks after I vacated my unit.
