I had to store item in New York from Los Angeles and Keven at 36-02 Northern Blvd in Long Island City was super helpful. He found me a local mover and I was able to sign the lease documents at a location in LA. The Extra Space Storage Team made a difficult situation very easy. Thank you!
I found the staff at Extra Space to be extremely helpful and courteous. The facility is clean and simple to navigate and the elevators are modern and user friendly (as opposed to some other companies that use those annoying freight elevators). The prices are very reasonable and they have hours that are quite convenient. I would definitely recommend them.

I just went there today. .Extra Space is about 10 blocks from the apartment I am moving from, and I figured that storage in Queens would be cheaper than storage in Manhattan. I felt that I was treated very well. The fellow, James, whose business card says "Manager", led me all through the facility, to show me the "climate-controlled units (it was pretty hot in there, by me. This is the best deal you'll get and the best service. I've used Manhattan Mini Storage and it's just too complicated. The guys at the front desk are so helpful and down to earth. Quick and simple. It's also right in front of the subway, and a few blocks away from USPS, which was helpful because I ended up shipping a lot of my items.
I just started renting a unit here. I reserved online a few weeks in advance. Public Storage is a little more convenient to me, but I didn't like that you can only reserve units a week in advance. I was stressed about moving and wanted to make sure I had a unit that I was happy with, and I was antsy to get it done. I have nothing but great things to say about this company. The facilites are very clean, the staff is polite and efficient, the location is good, and the rates are some of the best around. Should my needs call for it, I will definitely use them again.
Super-awesome storage place. Prices are competitive and the people working there are friendly and helpful. It's clean and easy to get in and out, on a major street and right on top of a subway stop (i.e. you can take a taxi there to drop off some things and then take the subway home, or vice versa) I reserved online and the manager called me five minutes later to ask if I had any questions. Great service, highly recommend. My only wish is that they were open later (elevators shut down at 6:45pm).
