I checked the website for prices and then called the site in Rancho Cordova to see if they might have a better rate. Spoke to the site manager, Andres, and he confirmed the web had the better pricing. So we reserved the unit online, as suggested, and drove to the site to complete the paperwork. Andres was the great. He was well mannered, showed us the space which we had rented and made the process a breeze. Great experience!

Andre is the absolute best ever when it comes to customer service and making sure you're happy. I went there one day to check on my stuff and thought the lock had been changed and that I couldn't get to my stuff. Even after yelling at him and acting like an idiot, he stayed calm and never got ruffled or retaliated. He's the best and we will definitely use them again if we ever need to.

When I moved, I no longer needed storage. I had no problem closing out my account and they were nice enough to give me a prorated charge, even though I did not give 30 days notice. I was very happily surprised! Thank you Extra Space!

If I could rate zero stars, I would. I recently went to my storage unit to add a few boxes but my key wouldn't work in the lock. I went home to double check the keys. I had the right keys. Upon returning I asked the manager on site to help me get into my unit. She met me at my unit with a set of keys that opened the lock. It was then that she informed me that she had replaced my lock because my unit had been broken into!!! No phone call to notify me of either the break in or the change in the lock. WTF!? Rented at this location due to convenience, but recently my unit was broken into - the cylinder lock was drilled through. This place is not secure or properly monitored. You can see people living in units and using generators. Immediately removed my items and searching for a new storage.

Rented a unit here for 6 months & the rate increased by a little over 30% after 3 months. I called & complained to what they lowered it to around 256. Quick to get you in & quick to jack the rates & lower them from that jacked rate to make you feel like you've just won a new car. They told me they sent a letter 30 days prior stating the increase. That would really make it after the second month they screw you. Store elsewhere, save your self the headache.

too expensive , they really do price gauge a bit too much . way too many storage places for them to do this practice . they raise your rent without notice too.

Terrible customer service and their units are overpriced. They just raised my rent $100 so they must be losing money due to their high debt load. Next month I will be moving from Extra Space Storage to Public Storage due to price. No loyalty to long-term customers. I had my 10'x30' unit for 4 years and they raised the price every year. From $190 in December 2019 to $436 now. Riduculous..

I have been at this location for a few months now and it's been several headaches which has led me to write an honest review for another wary customer. From the gate being locked on several occasions before closing our from changing the lock which took weeks to them claiming it's done and going on person to grab my key and the individual working the desk comes to tell me that is has not been done yet as well.
