This is a very clean and pleasant facility. Renting a storage space here was easy and fast. Cindy-lou was wonderful! She gave me the best rate avail. and she is Super friendly! I will definitely recommend this place because of her!

We used them a while ago for storage when my husband got out of the military, and although the staff was great and the location was amazing, They would send me a notice roughly every 3 to 4 months raising our rent price and without a reason which sucked.

Cindy Lou and Nick were awesome to work with at a stressful time. Let's face it moving is stressful! However when we came into the office (shortly before quitting time I might add) they were both friendly and extremely knowledgeable about their availability. The unit we rented had just been cleaned spotlessly that day and was prepped and ready to go. Renting a unit was quick and easy, painless! Thank you so much for knowing your business so well, being kind and courteous, and making the process enjoyable!

Office staff at this location are awesome. They always seem happy to see their customers, super friendly, very helpful. They are very professional, yet treat their customers like old friends. My first time using a storage unit and they answered all my questions without making me feel dumb. Also made sure my gate code worked and that I actually knew how to open and lock my unit. Cindy and Nick at Extra Space Storage in Manteca made a tough situation easier for my fiance and I, so we're delighted to have done business with them and would like to recommend them to others!! In short, we drove some personal and household stuff up from Southern California for a relative who was relocating to the Manteca area from the East Coast. We rented a unit at ESS in Manteca for one month and sent our relative the key via certified mail. That gave him 30 days to retrieve the stuff at his leisure. Everything work... read more

Rat infested badly. Moved majority of a 10x20 unit to find stuff eaten, droppings and piss all over everything. Nice enough people, always easygoing easy to deal with. Very expensive

!!DO NOT RENT HERE AS OF 9/2025!! They currently have a rat infestation in multiple buildings! Unless you want all your possessions covered in rat droppings, stay away! While Cindy Lou has been awesome and works hard, she is only 1 person. We had no issues for over a year in 2 different units, opened my unit up today to find this, only a couple weeks since they raised my rate too Hopefully this review saves someone the headache

Find a different storage facility, very disappointed. My husband and I moved our items into a 10'x20' unit in April and hired professional movers to move us out of our unit and into our new home in June. When we first arrived and moved in, there was a huge trail of ants in front of the unit/inside. It took numerous phone calls and office visits to have someone spray outside, they claimed that they did. We were there not even 3 months.
