Let me preface this by saying, if you are in need of short term storage this place is perfect. However, if you are looking for anything longer then 3 months, and I think most people usually are then you might be in for a little shock depending on what size unit you have. I was just issued a 50% rent increase which took me by surprise after only three months. I have left a few messages with the office and have yet to receive a return phone call. Extra space storage at El Camino Real is such a nice safe place. We had our storage there for 2 years now. I needed help figuring out a smaller unit, as I have moved out a lot of stuff from the larger unit. Francisco was very helpful, very knowledgeable, polite, I can go on about all the good qualities he possesses. Excellent service. I was very happy with the unit he suggested and moved in the next day. This gentleman is a rare gem and wish him all the goodness in life. Very friendly staff! Would recommend going here for storage. (I came here for cycle count and the front desk folks were really nice to me

New and clean which is great. But the customer service is lacking. A few notes: 1. Hand out a map of the storage area to find the unit easier. It is a maze. 2. Better solution, put a map up in the storage area when you exit the elevator. Maybe add some signage at each row that shows the unit numbers in the row. Similar to hotel floor signage 3. place signs in the maze pointing the way back to the elevator 4. Respond to your email requests. Great service from Chris and Sandra at this facility. Quick and easy process . Chris showed us the unit and answered all our questions . We made our decision and the set up was easy we were able to complete and head out to our next errand of the day ! Thank you Chris and Sandra

Great facility & location! Always kept clean, and the staff is very responsive if you have any questions while getting set up. Their process is clear, easy and their online portal makes everything you need very convenient. If I wasn't moving out of state, I would have continued renting the space!
