Correction to my previous review: I have been informed that Extra Space 0346 is in Dallas, not Terrell, Texas. As I stated, I have never been to Texas, and I have never conducted business with this company.

Beware of Extra Space Storage! Their business model is to get you in for a reasonable price and raise the price significantly over the course of a year. In one year the storage rate has increased from $89 a month to $150 per month - an increase of 174%. Storage business bait and increase. So, so storage facility. They buy storage facilities and do a little fix-up and let it go from there. Insulation falling from the ceiling, cutting staff to lower labor resulting in poor customer service. I needed to store my clothing so I rented space in extra space storage for $142 a month starting in November of 2020 The bill increased to $173 for no apparent reason in April 2021.This is outrageous price gougin!

RATS RATS RATS RATS RATS RATS!!!! I pay $423 per month for storage for my business files, equipment and furniture. Just came from visiting my unit in Valrico, Florida, and found rat urine and feces everywhere and my furniture and files are ruined! I asked onsite manager what they were going to do about it and he basically said "nothing." He "sprayed and taped" the ceiling. Do NOT do business with this company unless you want your stored goods ruined!!! RATS! Clint Whittington

Only use this place for short term storage. My rent went up by 50% in third year. I was not notified of increase and was not refunded for early move out. Very greedy!

To this company I give them two stars because I recently went there because I wanted to park my truck in that place since I need a place to leave it in the moches. What I did not like this trust was the treatment of the mannager because I found it very rude and I did not pay attention while I spoke so I decided to take my truck to another place because for me the most important thing in a business is to treat well To customers for this reason I give two stars to this company.

I would rather give them 2.5 stars but that isn't an option. Overall they are pretty nice and the facility is clean. Rents are a bit high in my opinion. The thing I'm most unhappy about is that the refuse to refund any excess rent when you move out. If you've paid on the first and move out on the second, you lose all of that money. I had to units here and ended up losing $150 that last month in rent I'd paid but couldn't get back. Homeless, Mentally and Physically Handicap person. Ive been trying to help him move his belongings into a cheaper place. On the 14th of the month I moved him out of extra space. The Women that works the desk could not return half his rent due to a policy. So after I emptied his storage unit I put a lock back on it. The women told me to remove the lock. I told her he is paid until the end of the month and if they wanted to refund his money I will remove the lock. If not I will be back on the 31st to remove the lock. They ca... read more

Call around looking for units being very specific about needs - outside, drive up entrance directly to unit. Response - oh yes we have it!! Boss likes unit, signs contract. I go to put stuff into it today and pull into parking lot, insert code at double doors, go inside get flatbed cart, truck it to my car, load up, insert code AGAIN to open double doors, wander unmarked hallways rolling said flatbed cart till unit is found.
