I've had to use self storage several times in life and found this one to be clean , operating well, equipment available with friendly staff. Compared to other experiences, if I have to give money to store my stuff - I'd rather give it to them

We use Extra Space Storage for our business and these folks have been fantastic from start to finish. We love the site managers, the facility is immaculate and the hours 6am - 10pm (or 24 hours a day for business accounts) is far and away better than the competition. Did I mention they blew the field away with their pricing? I can't say enough good things about Extra Space.

I am at the end of my 18 month "stay" at Extra Space. We finally found another house - yay! I really cannot recommend Extra Space enough. Yes, there are some silly corporate policies but if you read your agreement you'll know what to do and not do regarding rent. The managers were wonderful to us. They pro-rated our final month's rent so we only had to pay for the three days we used. They told us how to avoid having to pay for the whole month (by not pre-paying w/ auto-pay). We chose Extra Space because we'd used them previously in another state and would choose them again in a second! Their rates are competitive without being too pricy, and I can not say enough good things about the office staff! They are so friendly and accomodating. I really feel like they care about their customers and are always willing to help out! I highly recommend this company and in particular, this location!

I have used several different storage facilities and Extra Space Storage is the best. The facility itself is very very clean, well lit, and very secure. In addition to excellent care of the property, Misty and Vince really go above and beyond the call of duty to ensure customer savings and happiness. I honestly feel like they are always looking out for their customers. I am sad to be leaving. I highly recommend this site and the fantastic management staff.

I am from a different state, but found a need to store items in San Jose. I found this Extra Space Storage location online using Bing. By signing up online, I got a great rate and first month free. Still, I wondered how the local office would handle the online rental. Answer: Perfectly! The site manager was helpful, efficient, informative. The location is vintage from the early days (70s?) of the storage boom, but clean, dry, safe and easy access. Happy customer!

Don't know about Lake City Prices as they are not upfront and posting them on the web. Extra Space puts all their prices on their web site and they are incredible to work with. Vince and Misty are very competent and helpful on-sight managers. This facility is clean, easily accessible and a delight to do business with. i redact my previous review alittle over a year ago. misty and mark are extremely dishonest and rude. they're quick to lock you out of your unit if it's past the due date, understandably. however they're quicker to assess huge miscellaneous fees, without notice. my unit has been broken into twice and even my things stolen. their excuse is that i put the lock back on improperly when since my first rental of the unit the door has never closed properly. when i asked mark why was one of my suitcases with its own personal lock wa... read more

Plan on paying twice as much as your initial move in price if you plan on staying there longer than a year. From Feb 2024 my rent for a 10x20 went from $185 to $389
