Don't ever, ever give the your ach ​ I asked them at the store and then I contacted corporate to stop ping an unauthorized charge. They refused. It was a major headache at my bank. Was going to close my oldest account until someone at Chase finally stopped these charges. I will tell everyone I know about how much you company blows. I would give you a negative if I could you're shysters

i have had a storage unit in this complex since last summer, and it has been infested with rats. They keep saying it's been cleared, but that's not true--everything is full of rat pee and rat poop. It's horrible! I've had to throw away bags of my belongings, yet they won't move me to another unit or give me two units of comparable size. They just keep insisting that there are no more rats, despite the pictures I've taken. There are so many rats, so be warned RATS!!

I've only been renting here about 3 months and suddenly I get a notice in the mail that says my rent is going up by $100 per month. I was shocked by such a large increase so soon, and so I consulted with a couple neighboring renters and discovered that this is their ploy. They wait until you get settled in and then they start hitting you with frequent increases in rent. This place was affordable or at least comparable to other storage places near by. But I am now paying $230 for a 5×10. It has almost doubled since I first started renting 2 years ago. I am not forced to loom for a new storage facility. At this point I might as well rent a three bedroom apartment for the extra room to store my things. Also the carts a no longer available, whether they've been stolen or not..I pay for them to be available to me especially at $230 for you to basically babysit my items. Started at 256 for 10x15, raised to 440 in 2 years even though advertised as 271 right now. Elderly dad on an extremely tight budget had to move All of his heavy stuff across town, even though they are advertising for a much lower price right now. This should not be legal, and in my opinion is extremely predatory to raise the prices this quickly and this unreasonably in such a short period of time. I just called to pay my bill and the hired help (you know who you are) was rude and sarcastic! When asked to explain a foreclosure on my unit that I make payments on each month, she said she had to look into it. Nothing to look into, she just didn't have an answer because she's an idiot with a smart mouth and dumb as a box of rocks. How do you foreclosure on someone who HAS NOT missed a payment?? I fell on hard times and was unable to pay my storage for a few months. Thankful God blessed me and put me back on top. The thing is extra storage space said I owed over a $1000 for missing my rent for 4 months when I was paying $140/month for my unit and insurance. So they told me they were going to auction off my unit and would know how much I would owe after that. When I first found this location I was very excited. I had been illegally locked out by my landlord during a pandemic not to mention being made homeless and disabled!!! I rented three units and there were plenty empty units still remaining. When I finally loaded my belongings into the units it was clear I only needed two. When you get you're unit Dan the manager is very helpful asking to give him a great help review , when you end you're storage unit Dan the managers could be more professional. I won't be coming back if I ever need, another storage unit at Extra space storage at the Simi valley location.
