This is a pretty old unit. There are no elevators. There are lifts that only you can put items in. My unit was on the 2nd floor. They charged me for a lock. The one in Hawaii Kai gave me a free one. This is not a temp controlled unit which for the price is what you get. It's old. I just have to use it for now. I should've checked it out before moving my stuff.

Clean and air conditioned. Easy way to open main door. I have only rented my storage space so will have to comment later when I "move in".

A few days ago, we were unloading our unit, and the electricity in all of Hawaii Kai went off. The ESS staff were super responsive, locked down the building from a security standpoint, assisted clients that were in their units, and provided great customer service all around all while staying calm and in control of the situation. Really impressed and appreciative of the extra aloha. Mahalo!

Debbie was very professional and helpful. Very well managed. The storage areas are very clean with plenty of security.
Is this storage facility expensive, yes it is. But that is the only negative thing I can say about them. Their staff is so friendly, literally every one of them. Customer service is top notch, I couldn't have asked for better. They are the only storage facility in Hawaii kai, their pricing reflects that. But this facility is awesome, they ate top notch. Place is kept clean & they are so helpful. Definitely recommend!
