I stored a two-bedroom apartment's worth of stuff here for a year and thought it was a great experience and highly recommend it. Beginning with the tour of the facility, I was impressed. I've never seen a storage building so clean! The place is spotless top to bottom and you'll routinely see the staff walking around with a cleaning cart sweeping and cleaning. Even though it's a bit pricey in my opinion, you can't beat that this place is right in Hawaii Kai. It's so convenient for me. Laurel was incredibly helpful. She gave me a tour & explained all the details very clearly. This place is immaculately maintained and very secure. Bonus points to their staff because the first time I put my lock on, the latch wasn't in the locked position. They caught this within the first 24 hours and called to let me know. Robert. A great asset to the company. Was very helpful when I was moving out. I have been using Extra Space Storage since they opened. Super clean and convenient. I left them because the price was getting OUT OF HAND. Not sure how they can justify the price going up 12% per year. I'm outta here.... If your looking for top notch storage and price is no object this is the place for you!

Came in looking for a reasonably priced storage unit and was helped immediately by Kevin who was extremely friendly and helpful. Location is clean and conveniently located near me. 5 stars for sure!

Extra space is clean and they manage the property well. But... it all comes with a price. Make sure to read the contract when applying for a lease. They have a section where it states that your lease is subject to change with the demand of the units on property. So as the demand goes up your lease goes up. My wife and I have a lease for a unit and for the first three months we had set price and within one month it went up over $30! We literally moved across the world so we can't come and move out. We moved into a 5x10 unit here not even three months ago for $164. They just decided to raise the rent by $100!!! See photos below of our last bill and the raise notice. I am beyond livid at a 60% rent raise this soon. Thanks for wasting our time and money. I will never rent space from them ag

Do not rent storage units if your not sure how long your going to need it. I rented a unit and gave it up early during the month (2 weeks early) and was told that I would not get a refund for the unused portion. After talking to the manager, I was told that I would receive a refund of over $200.00 and it's been over 6 months and I've not received any refund or heard from the facility. BEWARE OF FREQUENT AND SIGNIFICANT PRICE INCREASES AT THIS LOCATION. First, let me acknowledge that the staff at this location are very kind and absolutely helpful. Also, the staff explained they have no control of the corporate price increase algorithm. I became a new customer in May of 2022. After just 2 additional months of payments, Extra Space raised the price to 150% of the original price that I signed up for just 3 months before. After leaving my storage as instructed (empty and locks removed by end of month), my card ended up getting charged again. Dane, the new manager however took care of the issue and was very helpful and reversed the charge. While the price is still exorbitant, the service remains excellent, too bad the corporate after buying Storsecure wanted much higher profits.
