Great place for storage! The buildings are clean and well-kept, and the staff is very helpful. Rosa is awesome! They have whatever you need: carts, locks, boxes, tape, bubble wrap, etc. Office hours and building access hours are reasonable, the property is secure, and you can specify if you need a temperature-controlled space (extra, I think) or not. I'm going to start with 4 stars and up or downgrade depending on how I like them after they hold my shit hostage when I'm in another State. I should have just trashed the shit, but I wanted to keep some prime African pieces, some items of clothing and a few masterpieces...sooooo I reserved a space online. Been renting a 5x15 storage space for 5 mths. The price has gone up $15, stating due to the cause of the pricing in the area. There prices can increase every six months by 10%. There's no discounts available such as police, military or student. Their elderly discount starts at 62 not 55.

Been renting with them for 3ish months and suddenly they're raising the rate of my rent over $40? Is this normal? Do they trick everyone with this bs? The web rate posted online is still the original rate I was paying so they're definitely renting out units at a promo rate and then jacking it up later. They claim it's to match "market rate" but my rate is now higher than the "in store" rate they have listed online. Bullshit business practice I would suggest you find somewhere else. Took two months to get the light working in my unit. Now jacking up the rent by 30%!!! Horrible experience for me. Look elsewhere.

I would have given it a 5 stars months ago under the last 2 managers but not since Brian became the mgr. He is very rude rude, calls ppl liars when they tell him about things happening at the storage site, etc. He has an attitude also. I love one of tge girls who originally rented me my unit. She's super sweet. Customer service told me to start taki g pictures of the problems I see bc Brian calls me a liar so I have and I can notbelieve how bad the floors are. Extra Space Storage in long beach pineville rd!!! I accidentally paid for 2 months though I'll only need it for 1.5 months. I called in soon after the payment and was told that they could refund me the days that I won't be using if I call 2 days before the intended move-out date. I called 2 days to the store in before the move-out date, a so-called site manager refused to recognize what I told him and refuse to process any refund. This place is a joke, raises rates all the time but you can't see where your money goes. Security is a joke, TWEEKERS come and go and break in to units. The camera system is all smoke and mirrors. This property is about as secure as a cardboard box. Run away from this place if you value your stuff.
