People will good out of their way to write a bad review. I don't usually write reviews but I created a Yelp account just to put in a good word for FastMed Harrisburg location. I am a visitor from out of state and this is my first Urgent care experience. I was a walk-in and expect to be there a while, and I was, about 2.5 hours. I was very sick but was very patient. Excellent service. This is my go to place for urgent care. Staff is courteous, medical team is knowledgeable. The wait time is not long. The rooms are clean.
Front receptionist L Gonzalez is very kind and with no one else there to help her she continues to show kindness. I love her NY accent. She worked diligently to help everyone out. I am a traveling healthcare provider needing a physical and flu shot, so that is why I was here. Working in healthcare I understand people can be rude and very impatient, and she continued with nothing but kindness. Thank you. Additionally, the PA L.B. and Cynthia. Went in for my kids annual physical for school. Was in and out with two kids in 45 minutes. Staff was amazing and PA was very nice. would definitely go back.
Great service & experience at this FastMed location. Went about 30 minutes before closing and Sheria was more than helpful. Was very quick and clean.

I'm not sure why anyone would give this Urgent Care a bad review because THIS PLACE ROCKS!!! I went in with a severe sore throat so I thought I might have strep or a sinus infection. I was lucky enough to get a thorough Medical Student. Strep test was negative but he could tell something was wrong so he suggested a flu test. Doggone I have the flu! Last week I went to FastMed to get stitches applied to a deep cut. The wait time was very short, 10 -15 min. The staff went above and beyond to care for my situation. They worked diligently to ensure I had proper medical care. The MA Demetrie was wonderful. Before I got my stitches I informed him of my fear of needles. He offered for me to hold his hand while I received an injection of lidocaine. He was very charismatic and compassionate during the procedure. The NP Charlene assured my comfort was top priority. My entire experience went perfectly. From check-in, I waited 10 minutes & was in the room for 5 minutes before seeing the Dr. or PA. I was scared because I had been bitten by a spider (I suspect) & my entire side of face was swollen beyond belief. Psychologically I felt much better leaving there than I did arriving. It took a few days for my face to go down & the infection to start to subside. Also, I was called 3 days later & checked on & i really appreciated that. I will use their services again if needed.
