Similar experience with this dentist as other complaints. We had a second treatment for a cavity for my some they cancelled on me the day of after rescheduling several times for not confirming the appt. I never cancelled so that means it’s confirmed. Dr. McCarthy and Staff are Great! Starting at the front desk with Jessica. Polite , professional with a great and warm personality. Asheley ( dental assistant) did a great job talking my X-rays, guiding me in a very relaxed and friendly manner with a smile:) Dr. McCarthy took her time to explain my treatment and I really appreciate that. I had a very bad experience in Salem with Gental Dental. It took me a year to get my dentures right with many many appointments. The Gental Dental here in Bend is a whole other story. I give Bend a 50******. These women are so kind and skilled. I received my dentures for my bottom teeth in less than a month. They are beautiful and my top teeth I already had, fit so much better. I’ve had ongoing billing problems with them for more than 2 years. We are covered by Medicaid/OHP, but for some reason they consistently tried to bill us directly even when they had our insurance information. I have been trying to call them and have often not been able to reach anyone, or when I do they are not knowledgeable or helpful. When it comes to the dental care itself, I had a terrible experience.
