This has to be the worst dental office in the United States. In 2.5 years I was able to get in for 2 cleanings. You have to wait 10 months to get an appointment, and then when you show up for your appointment, they tell you they don't have a hygienist that day so you'll have to be rescheduled in another 10 months. Unbelievable.. No notice. No phone call. No apology.. This happened to me twice. I should've learned the first time. Who runs this place? How can you be so bad at running it? I’ve only had good experiences with the dental assistants and Dr. Pennington! Very kind and helpful. The dentist is really calming and professional. I can tell the team does really care about the patients and making sure they feel comfortable, which I really appreciate! I will say, I agree with other reviewers regarding the front desk. I’ve had similar interactions with Maria in particular, that were unpleasant because of her attitude and demeanor. Similar experience with this dentist as other complaints. We had a second treatment for a cavity for my some they cancelled on me the day of after rescheduling several times for not confirming the appt. I never cancelled so that means it’s confirmed. They said it needed to be by a call or text and I was never informed of this. Absolutely ridiculous. Today they called and said the dentist i just we her hand and can’t do the procedure the day of. Dr. McCarthy and Staff are Great! Starting at the front desk with Jessica. Polite , professional with a great and warm personality. Asheley ( dental assistant) did a great job talking my X-rays, guiding me in a very relaxed and friendly manner with a smile:) Dr. McCarthy took her time to explain my treatment and I really appreciate that. I was seen by Dr. Pennington and assisted by Lynne during my visit. Lynne was exceptionally kind and supportive throughout my appointment. I have significant dental anxiety, and she made the entire process feel smooth, calm, and manageable. She was also very knowledgeable, which helped put me at ease. Dr. Pennington was thorough in answering my questions and took the time to address my concerns thoughtfully. His calm demeanor made me feel safe, reassured, and well cared for.
