I went to Gentle Dental with the hope to get a good deal. Not only are the prices barely competitive, the savings plan that is being pushed is worthless. Long wait every single time, months to get an appointment, and when a temporary crown split in half and left me with a bleeding, jagged edge, I was told that there are no emergency appointments, and to deal with it til a few days later when an appointment is open. Lousy customer service, high prices and mediocre dental work. JUST GO ELSEWHERE. I know I will not return.

Profits before patients!!! Never again. - note: all the good reviews are 4-5 years old. I called last month (after hours) with an emergency. I finally connected to their chap whom answers their after hours phone; I explained that I was a current patient & the painful situation (it had been 2 days of intense pain) and that I needed a script for antibiotics called in. Back alley dental shop. Should have know better than to have gone in there for a root canal. Yes it failed. Mean while 4k later and missed work i have had a major hassle with this whole ordeal. This place maybe good for a cleaning or hispanics with free welfare dental but thats it. Chop shop!!!! Oh yes and I'm a Bend native and will spread the bad word about this place every chance i get.

Waited 30+ minutes for my daughter to be seen and watched 5-6 people who came on after me, were seen before my daughter. What kind of dental office says to come at 215 and then doesnt see the patient till after 3. Also having a toddler with you makes it even more difficult in a small waiting room

I am so sad that the service has gone from great to HORRIBLE since the switch from smile keepers to gentle dental. They never answer the phone and I never receive a call back. I do want to say Dr. Mcnaughten (sp?) is WONDERFUL and I wish she would switch to a different dentist office so that we can continue to see her as, after today we will not be returning. I am not happy with Dr. Hallie or this dental office one bit. They have been my dentist for at least a couple of years now. Where do I start: first of all, they made me a flipper tooth, but yet I am unable to wear it because it fits too tight and starts to turn my gums raw after a couple of hours, then they tell me that they cannot fix it. I wish I could get the dental office to communicate with me about my current billing situation. This also includes the discounted dental card I paid for and did re-new this year. The first experience was with Dr. Ash. She was so negligent in her dental treatment plan it was unbelievable. Then she leaves her office and all her clients over the weekend.. I was referred to this dentist by 1-800- DENTIST. I went to the appointment and the regular dentist was not available that day. My appointment was with Dr Guy. His examination of my mouth, which lasted for about three minutes, concluded by him saying "Yup, everything looks fine." That part of the exam cost me $65. He did not even address the concerns I brought up about pain in my gums.
