I needed to be seen urgently because of a chipped molar, and my primary dentist didn't have any availability. I was lucky enough to get scheduled at Brea. The appointment went very well from start to finish. Miriam runs the front office and kindly explained all my insurance coverages and what to expect. She also handled numerous insurance calls before and after my visit (to get the visit properly authorized). They use to be very good about 3-4 years ago. Ever since, they have been slipping in customer service and availability. They now often cancel on you the day before, never pick up the phone, and never inform you on important dates and information. The doctor is constantly changed out, making it a hassle to explain your dental history to them even though they have the back up. I recommend finding a more local dentist. This is now very corporate.
As alway, I have always had a very pleasant experience at my appointments. The staff in the Brea office are very friendly and helpful. The dental hygienist very thorough and cares about my dental health, always explaining how important it is to maintain my teeth not only at the dental office but also at home. I would recommend Gentle Dental to my family and friends.
Everyone hates going to the dentist...but I go to Gentle Dental to make the experience as best possible. The front office staff is the best. They greet me by name and take care of things to help to alleviate the stress. Miriam, the Office Manager, is a gem.
I chose this place as part of my in-network insurance coverage. I was looking for an oral surgeon. They book appointments on the same day. Friendly and caring staff. I wish they provided more urgent care. My daughter came in with severe jaw pain due to wisdom teeth needing extraction; however, her first appointment is weeks away for a consult, and then they will make another appointment for the extraction.
