I rescheduled my appointment to today, a Saturday because I couldn't come during the week. I tried to get an evening appointment but the latest they had was like 3 so Saturday was my only choice. I got there 15 minutes early and it was closed. There is no one there, the phone call goes straight to voicemail. I waited to see if they opened at 10, my appointment time. The front desk is very unprofessional,the assistant(1) does not change her gloves when leaving/entering the room.Management is fine but their staff is horrible. I am trying my hardest to switch from this place they stress me out and their communication is the absolute worst.
I went here and saw Dr. Watanabe who told me I needed membrane and bone grafting. Without knowing what these were I trusted him and got them done. I paid a lot out of pocket as most were not covered by insurance. After reading more about it I decided to get a second opinion at a different office. Then I was so surprised and now angry when I found out not only did I not get any membrane even the bone graft wasn't that necessary. This is purely unacceptable. I will be reporting this incident to the dental board.
Horrible. Took my 2 year old daughter for her first dentist appointment. First off, not a warm welcome from front desk staff. They were only concerned about paper work and does not engage with patients. When it was our turn to go, the dental assistant didn't know the appointment was for my daughter. She asked if it was for me and was confused about the birth date on the paper when it was clearly written my daughters birthday. I made an appointment specifically requesting a female doctor and when I showed up I was surprised to see that they had switched me to one of their male dentists. For the front desk staff in charge of scheduling please respect the patients' wishes when they specifically request an appointment with a doctor of the same gender as some of us prefer it this way.
I recommend going here if you want to get rip off. The dentist always give you the only choice which will cost you the most. The receptionist and the hygienist are also in this tactic.
Had this dentist for a few years The dentist is fantastic But his front desk Would not work with me payment Wise . Their corprate office was no Use Payment wise When I had the work Done last year or prior to it My engine had to be fixed And could do two major Bills at once So I got the bill on My part of it Looked at it and left
This was the worst dentist I've ever gone to. The receptionist Alisa is very unprofessional. She has no integrity. She lied to me and told me my insurance didn't cover a deep cleaning. Alisa told me the only way they could deep clean my teeth was with a laser. She lied so the dentist could make a profit. Now my teeth are sensitive to hot and cold. I didn't have this problem until I visited Gentle Dental in Hayward. I have already started my complaint with the California Dental Association. Alisa said she doesn't care.
Avoid this business if possible. They were available through my insurance so I went there. After three years of no cleanings (COVID shutdown) I went in for a cleaning with Dr. Watanabe. Dr. Watanabe has a great bedside manner but is incompetent. He barely cleaned my teeth and told me I was fine. I got home and realized he didn't know what he was doing or didn't care.
