Been going here for years. I definitely scheduled an appointment for October, but did not get a reminder text/call as they usually did in the past. I called a few days before the appointment to confirm and was told they did not have an appointment for me on that day. They let me reschedule for this month, and after not getting any kind of reminders once again, I called to confirm but received no answer. 90% of the receptionists are very rude and don't seem like they know what they are doing. I've been going there for a few years, they constantly called me before & after appts asking me for my insurance cards for every appt when it's always been the same. They've been overcharging me for every appt and never even told me that they were having problems with my insurance until I called them multiple times complaining about the payments being asked of me, mind you they've been giving me excuses every time about why I've been ge... read more

I DON'T RECOMMEND ANYONE GOING TO THIS CLINIC. DO NOT GO TO GENTLE DENTAL MILILANI! They do not answer the phone and are unreliable, left messages numerous of times and still no response, when someone finally answered the phone, " they said the system closes at 4pm and to call in the morning." It seems that the best bet is to go there and make an appointment . The question is "Why are they not answering or returning calls." For those of you asking, Gentle Dental FINALLY overnighted me a check AFTER I filed a complaint against them with the Better Business Bureau. Judging by results, I'd say Gentle Dental won't even spit in your direction without getting an arm crank from BBB. Stay away...

DO NOT GO TO GENTLE DENTAL MILILANI! They do not answer the phone, OVER CHARGE, and are unreliable. I went for a root canal and left in tears. The doctors assistant didn't know what she was doing. When the dentist would ask for something she had to stop and show her. I don't know about you but I prefer the people to be working on me while I'm in pain to know what they are doing! The worst customer service I have ever experienced at a dental office. I tried to schedule an appointment and they couldn't scheduled one for six months and they said they would call if they had sooner openings...that never happened. I needed a referral sent to the oral surgeon they recommended. I called, they said come in. They only gave me the scans. I call again and they said they'd send them right away. Very poor management . I received text and email conforming my appointment when I walked into the clinic the front desk told me I don't have any appointment and that was the second time that happened with me. I don't recommend anyone going to this clinic. The manager don't know how to deal with customers.

This review is not for the Dentist, Dr. Nishihara, who was excellent. But for the way this office is run. I made an appointment for a Root Canal in May, was given an estimate for the amount. Paid the entire amount up front on the day I made the appointment which was 3 weeks away. I continued to receive bills for this Root Canal months after it was completed. The front desk is HORRIBLE!!!!! and their office manager sucks too...they tried to double charge my insurance for sealants for my daughter that I had already told them she had done at a previous dentist 6 months prior but they didn't care they just wanted the money.
