Had appt for teeth cleaning. X-rays taken, then I waited over a half hour in the chair. I asked what the delay was, and I was then told "You are dismissed." What? I was told to leave. Beats me why, so I left. As I was exiting, someone said, "And we won't charge you for the X-rays." Horrible, non-professional lack of services. A waste of my time.

First of all, Dr. Zandt is a great dentist. The reason for 2 stars is 5 stars for the dental care and zero stars for bookkeeping staff. I have been getting billed for over $280 for over a year. They can't tell me what I am being charged for but tell me they have no control over the billing. They have even agreed that there is an error in the bill. Been coming here for years, and really liked this office but this year, I don't know what happened to this office, they just sucked. First, beginning this year, the dental assistant was trying to pressure me into doing an x-ray of every single tooth, for no reason. When I tried to decline, he said I could either do it or not be allowed to return for future treatment. I choose the latter and left. I had been going here for many years even when they were up at Town Center, but the last few times I went I have not been happy and was forced to seek a new clinic to go to. (Still looking for the 'right' one) On my last visit the new young hygienist started by polishing my teeth with the rotating brush and paste. Just called them to make an appointment for cleaning. Told the receptionist I wanted a late appointment anytime AFTER 3:30 due to work. She said the latest I could get is 3:30. But what I don't understand is that my previous appointments has been later. What has changed? Very unaccommodating!

I have been with Gentle Dental for years, but since they changed management it's been rough. gentle dental over billed me $$$ and it has still yet to be fixed. I do not recommend Gentle Dental because of billing issues.

My last experience at Gentle Dental was terrible. After my procedures were done, I was told to have a seat in the waiting area. I sat, sat and sat, for at least half and hour. Nobody acknowledged me. The office staff was busy talking to another customer and her little girl when they walked in the door. Finally, I was asked if I needed help. I mentioned that I was told to wait in the waiting area. The first time we came here everything was just okay. My kids are older and they went back by themselves. What I wasn't a fan of was them telling what the issues were in the waiting room, everyone could hear your business and the fact that I never saw who the actual dentist was weird to me. They gave me a referral to someone who doesn't even see patients under 18. After getting that cleared up we went got the work done and needed to go back for permanent fillings and nobody ever picks up the phone so I can make that appointm... read more
