I have tried a few dentist in Hawaii. This one is not only the friendliest but professional. Always get a courtesy call and if my appointment is a certain time they stick to it no waiting for hour to see the dentist. Top notch from the dentist to office staff. Mahalo for changing my opinion about the dentist

My husband and teenage daughter have been going to Gentle Dental for awhile before I decided to change dentists. I am so glad I did! My husband raved about his dentist so I decided to try Dr. Tokumura. I have a small mouth and as I've gotten older have issues breathing when my mouth is opened too wide. I so appreciate Dr. Tokumura and her patience. Making sure I'm comfortable and can manage while she's working on my teeth. Taking small breaks so I could rest my jaw. I was in excrutiating pain, I was grumpy, the girls at the front desk were very sympathetic and patient. They got me right in. Dr. Hennessy was very understanding about my anxiety about dentist visits and she was "painless". I'm so happy and relieved to find this office.

I had a real dental emergency and I'm so grateful for the kind and professional people at this office. I was able to get an appointment right away due to the urgency of my condition. The receptionists got me dialed in with ease even with all my rush being a brand new patient. I felt very taken care of by Dr. Hoshino. Just got done cleaning my teeth with my boy MICAH go see him to get your pearl white teeth from him great guy very informative of what's going in my mouth and I must say it was a war zone but MICAH brought peace to the republic

I came here for the first time the staff MINUS ONE receptionist was nice. As I walked out she Gave me a rude look and as I was filing out papers she said there was something left to sign she could have been nicer.:) cause someone who wants to work with a better attitude could have your job (: I called to make an appointment thinking I was coming in for a teeth cleaning apparently the person should have clarified it was just a check up. I was a bit worrisome of Gentle Dental Mililani after reading the reviews, however they came highly recommended. On a busy Saturday morning they were able to work me in when all the dental offices turned me away. Dr. Patel examined my wisdom teeth and recommended I have them removed. They were able to get me in first thing Thursday morning. The awesome service didn't stop there. Dr. Ahn was fantastic. He made me feel extremely comfortable and educated me thoroughly. Gentle Dental is more than the place that takes care of My Beautiful Smile. The Doctors here generally do care about your well being. They take time to actually talk to you as well as educate you on the things that will take care of your teeth & gums. They're always punctual and I'm out within the hour. If you're looking for a Dentist, search no more.

My family and I have been coming here for awhile now. The overall staff is extremely kind and patient, The dentists and the Orthodontist are extremely nice. They're very patient and explain things in away that you can understand and not be condescending. My only complaint is that if you need to get a root canal, you need to see a specialist at another company. Other than thatI I would recommend Gentle Dental. The office and waiting area is clean.
