Verified Renter Governours Square is an okay community. The exterior definitely looks better than the interiors. The "upgrades" are poorly done and reflect that no time or thought was given into making the units look more modern. The property itself is in need of upgrades, for example, every fence is in desperate need of replacement. If Governours Square hopes to compete with the newer communities that currently exist and/or are being built, they need to invest some money into getting this community in shape.
Verified Renter Good apartments for pricing and VERY friendly office staff. Some bumps along the road but it's been nice.
Verified Renter Beautiful area, conveniently located. It's not a terrible to drive to anything, from groceries to entertainment. Lived here a while now and I've not see any issue with crime. It's safe to let packages sit on a porch, and you could leave your keys in your door (not recommended, but has happened a few times) and no one will would touch them!
Verified Renter Location is great, and so is the price paid for where we live. The apartments are very old and could use a truly modern uplift. Laundry facilities are unreliable, and we are waiting on the gym to reopen.
Verified Renter It is a good location. Very close to grocery stores and restaurants as well as Ohio State University and downtown. Pets are allowed which is great. The only complaint I have is how old some of the apartments and the appliances in them are.
Verified Renter There were many issues I have with my first unit due to plumbing (not any fault of staff, just old piping). I tried to ride it out because I really didn’t want to move again. But when it was made known after some work/maintenance, that the problem will take a lot more to fix than originally thought, I decided to take the offer of moving units. Verified Renter Hi I am Gopichand and I am residing at Governours Square apartment's for past year. I feel very relaxed and safe living in my apartment. The floor plans are excellent and well spacious. The location has good community and excellent lawns. The maintenance team do great job all the time. Office staff are always quick responders and very helpful whenever you needed.
