I bought a 2015 F250 Powerstroke 4X4. My first service advisor John Goddard would make you feel that you were a burden then he was rude to my assistant. I then moved to Darren Hayden, nice guy but good luck getting him to answer his cell or desk phone. I also left the service manager a message just trying to find out the status of my vehicle..no return call. You would think the service manager would at lest call you back. I also own a Mercedes and WOW Park Place blows Grapevine Ford service away, not even close.
This has not been a very good customer service experience and I can see why Grapevine Ford has a bad reputation when it comes to their service department. Dropped off (Drove in) a high milage F350 with 7.3L due to it running rough figuring it would be looked at within a day or two max but it turned out to be 4 days before it was even looked at to get a diagnosis and repair quote. ANGRY - BEYOND BELIEF Our new truck just had the transmission go out. It's a 2016 Ford F150 Lariat with 8400 miles. Ford towed it to Grapevine Ford in which it has just sat. Yesterday my service advisor ALEX SEAL told me that I was number 8 in line for the transmission shop. Don't let the "Quick Lane" in the Ford Quick Lane Service Center fool you. There is no effort in getting you in and out quickly ala Qwik Car service centers. Waited over an hour for a state inspection. I won't make this mistake again.
DO NOT take your vehicle to Grapevine Ford Service Department! I called on Tuesday July 11 and scheduled an appt for 7:30am with AC on Thursday July 13. I stressed to the lady I spoke to that my work schedule is very difficult and not flexible. I was scheduled off of work ONLY Thursday and Friday, returning to work Saturday. Not a good service/business model for "professional service". Appt for 7:30 AM on a Tuesday. Took car in on Monday late AM to leave for Tuesday Appt. Grapevine Ford did not look at car until Wednesday afternoon. Windshield washer delay switch and problem with Navigation. Did not order part until Thursday. Began work on car Friday PM. 4th trip for warranty service repair in 4 months to our transmission our Ford Escape. They have given poor service at every chance not only only the technical side but also on the customer service front as well. Even though it's warranty repair, I'm out of pocket so much money it's ridiculous and they really do not care. We have a different service advisor every time and each one has been worse. DO NOT get vehicle serviced here - we have taken two vehicles here for service. I will never do business with Grapevine Ford again. I was repeatedly lied to about the status of our vehicles and they are notorious for suggesting services to your vehicle that are not needed. I had my vehicle looked at by a Ford Master Mechanic (20+ years) who told me what I needed done to my vehicle. First Impressions are lasting! Made an appointment last week for oil change and coolant system slow leak. The vehicle belongs to a supposed valued fleet customer and I was dropping it off for the first time myself. At drop off it took 3 techs to get to the right person and am then told that it will be 3 to 4 days before the coolant system can be looked at.
