Worthless service department and an even more worthless service manager. They won't live up the services you pay for and refuse to make it right.
I made an appointment for Friday morning 7 am to get an oil change and tire rotation done. I added onto this wiper blade replacement and tire balance. It took dealership almost 2 hours to do this. On a weekday The charge for tire balance is $60 Wiper blade replacement $37 When I got home they email you a copy of your point inspection report and it showed I needed a new air filter and cabin filter. Date line 5/22/2020 I called about a 2016 CPO Ford Escape that Grapevine Ford had advertised. Was contacted immediately and they went through their spill about how if I would fill out a credit app they would come of the price $500 even though I had told them is was a cash deal. Was told they are not a front of house dealership and did not do cash discounts. Now I was quoted $18,800+- for the car they had advertised for $16500. I decided to try this Ford location for my car's oil service and tire rotation, even though it's farther than the usual location I visit. I must point out my Service Advisor Chris Walker was very courteous and welcoming. Unfortunately, that is the only positive thing I can mention about Grapevine Ford. It took 3 hours for the The Works service package I came for to be completed. Horrible dealership. Bought my 2017 F250 here and also purchased the extended warranty. On Monday my engine started smoking (73k miles) so being 6 minutes away came right to the dealership just before 8AM. I opened the hood and diesel was all over the engine compartment. The service tech took my info and said it should be repaired in 2-5 days. Ridiculous service department, want us to leave our expedition there for 2-3 days for them to look at it. I offered to make an appointment and bring it back in 3 days. They said they don't take appointments. I need a car to get to work and leaving it there for that amount of time just waiting in queue is not acceptable. They had an opportunity for my business but lost it. If they keep up at this pace they won't have to worry about being so busy.....
My car has been shuddering since I've gotten the vehicle, just recently I got a letter in regards to a recall. I made an appointment for a month in advance because that's all that was available, I get here and they say it could be up to a week to get my car back and they won't offer a loaner car. This place is ridiculous, if their car has a recall you should be given a loaner no matter the circumstances.
This service department runs on fear tactics when a woman walks into it. I drove five hours from Lubbock Texas to Grapevine on Thursday, September 12. When I hit Roanoke, there was a vibration and wobbling in the steering. I called the service department and they said that they would have an advisor call me back I never received that call.
