From my experience and comments from another family member the staff is excellent. They have been very professional, respond quickly to questions, keep family in the loop, and are personable and approachable. Activities provided seem ok. From what I hear the food is good. It is great that they have regular menus and alternatives if residents prefer something other than what is presented on the menu. The building is always clean and smells fresh. The staff at Heritage in West Allis are all exceptional! My brother has been there since January and we (4 siblings) visit often. We have been in contact with so many staff and find them all so friendly and fun to talk to. [name removed] especially is an amazing, beautiful soul. She is compassionate, caring and fun as well. We have nothing but great things to say about Heritage!
What we like the most about the community is the friendliness of administrative staff and patience of care staff. I know my mother-in-law would have liked for her bed to be made daily.
I rate them 5 stars. The staff are caring and patient with the residents.
Memory care is good and slightly less expensive than other places. Good activities. Comfortable dining rooms are a smaller intimate experience. Good communication. Many extra charges over the monthly rent. Overall a good choice.
I would give them a 5 on all the categories! They have been amazing! The staff has been great!!! I like that they share how my mom is doing and how well she adjusted..... they also greet my mom by her name when they see her in the hall.
There is a very nice schedule of activities with things to leave your apartment for each day. The apartment is very roomy. My Dad feels like he is at home. He appreciates having a button to call for help, and I have peace knowing there is help when he needs it.
I would rate it as a four and the best thing was that my mom could have her dog the one thing that I did not like was there has been a lot of turnover which I think is kind of normal in that industry. I would recommend it. My mom likes it, so that's a win!
