It doesn't print well after the first tonerreplacement! I replaced my toner and it went downhill since then. It cuts off margins, edges, and blurs out things. I am very disappointed; I had to spend over $200 and $150 worth of toner. This was a significant purchase for me as a student!
Don't bother with a brother from here... The description of this that I was buying said that the box was damaged & the printer was new but in a different box. Im afraid that I can't believe that... this is a used printer; considering that there is food stuck on the white background copier matt, the WiFi is configured to a network, and in the gui statistics the cylinders have ran over 2,000 times with an expected lifetime of just over 21,000 impression to go. Very misleading description, actually a flat out LIE. :(
Garbage and horrible customer service! Will never buy another Brother product! We had this printer for 1 1/2 years. It was used for home use only, very sporadically. One day it decided to not turn on. I contacted customer service, they had me try a few fixes to no avail. Then they told me to take it in to get repaired where I found out it would be cheaper to buy a new one than fix! Worst printer I've ever bought Ok for just print, but the occasional picture, say a book cover, is absolutely bad - nothing but lines throughout the picture. Even on just print, blotches are scattered on the pages. I will never buy this brand again.
Slowest printer ever + after just a few months of infrequent use, paper is now jamming constantly the faq for resolving jams is incomplete and not helpful. The printer is very slow. Too slow.
Great at first, didn't last This thing was fantastic for 15 months. However, at this price, it needs to last much longer than that. The glass under the touch pad has broken. It still prints but can't copy because I can't hit the button. Plus, if it ever comes off of the wifi, it can't go back on. I looked into getting it repaired, but that will cost more than a new printer. If you do decide to go ahead with this one, which does make efficient use of toner, GET THE WARRANTY!
Very much dissatisfied buying this costly printer. Connectivity is big issue with this printer. Connecting through WiFi is very much inconsistent. Data receiving through WiFi is very slow. I have very good router (300/300 Mbps) even though printer takes time to receive a single page data.
Completely fine with this printer I wanted a good, basic, color laser printer, and this one has caused me no grief. It responds to the mild demands I place on it without issue. Everything I hoped for.
Difficult to use This printer is the most complicated machine I've ever dealt with and I'm pretty experienced being the go to person at work and with family. The website is not user friendly and neither is the printer. I'd love to return this, but I've had it too long.
