OK works with XP and win7
Love Your Brother :-) I have always had good luck with compatibility, reliability, and years of production with Brother Laser printers. This one seems no different! I love the duplex (double sided copies) feature. I can reuse one sided paper too. I have not tried to print on envelopes or 8.5x14. I buy the Brother toner only, and the large capacity cartridges, and they last a long time.
Five Stars Fast and Quiet
Perfect Printer for Small Office This has been our "go to" printer for the office. It prints on both sides, is fast, connects to the network, and generally runs without any problems. Best of all, there are many options online for replacing the toner cartridge. I would highly recommend for any small office environment.

Fast, crisp output, perhaps a bit loud The printer was a breeze to setup. I've used the USB connection (to keep tabs on who can print to it) and it was automatically detected on Windows 10. I assume that using printing over WiFi from a mobile device should be equally easy but have not tried it. There were clear instructions on how to remove the seals on the toner cartridge and I was up and running in a couple of minutes. Rock solid printer, one of the best you'll find in this price range. Flawless. That describes this new Brother HLL5100DN printer.
