A month before the trip, they asked for $500 outside of the full payment we made through Airbnb. I told them Airbnb doesn’t allow charges outside of their platform. They threatened to not give me the access code to the condo and pretty much told me they have additional rules and policies that were not listed on Airbnb when I booked and paid. They canceled our vacation two weeks before we were to arrive with a bogus reason. I asked for a comparable substitution given they manage a lot of vacation homes. We were denied. They... read more

Vacation Scam. Beware!!!!!! I have booked a house for my family in Marco Island Beach in September 2020, with VRBO and IPG Florida Vacation Homes. After paying for house plus security deposit,I got mail confirmation and code to enter vacation home. When we came on Christmas Day; my wife, two children and myself,the house that I paid for was occupied by somebody else. When initially contacting the host, we were greeted with, “I can’t talk right now” upon receiving our grievances. We did not have access to running water for majority of our time of the first day, due to the lack of responsiveness and transparency from the host. We had major issues upon arrival with necessities, such as the water not being turned on due to host not paying bill. Bate&Switch on Christmas Eve. Pool heater was off upon arrival to the wrong house. No internet at the WRONG HOUSE. All the remotes dead at the WRONG HOUSE. Had to pack next day to the correct location and the pool heater is completely out of service. Avoid this company at all cost. Customer service....horrible. Paid for a grill. No grill. Paid for pool heat. No pool heat. Paid for the house selected. Forced into the wrong house. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE!!!!

The house itself it beautiful. It just needs. Few minor things fixed. The receptacles need to be covered. We had to move the couch to keep my grandson away from being exposed. Again. We managed. What is bad is the management company. I emailed weeks prior to arrival about pool heat so that my grandson could enjoy the pool. Arrived. Pool cold. After they couldn’t find a quick solution for my problem I was put on hold. After 35min. I hung up and called again. I wasn’t in the best mood because I had already waited 35 min. - but the person to whom I spoke then just topped it because she said this would never happen that someone would have to wait that long in a call.
