Prime is one of my favorite places to go. The service was a little slower than normal, but otherwise wonderful as always!
Ordered a “wagu” burger…was waaay over cooked it was like a hockey puck.
It was way, way too loud. The food and service were good but it was hard to even have a conversation...
Tomahawk steak was undercooked. Ordered medium cooked and was served a medium rare. To correct it, steak was taken back and reheated, making it chewy and not worth $200+. Vey disappointed.
Food and service were excellent. I picked J Prime due to the rave reviews I read on here. I wanted the perfect location to celebrate my 25 year wedding anniversary. From the moment I walked into the restaurant, I knew this was not it. The noise level was too loud for my liking with loud music. This has been one of our favorite steakhouses for years but service was subpar, food was just ok and overall not the best we’ve had.
Started with an amuse bouche of puffed pastry, obviously made in advance resulting in wet puffed pastry. WORSE, NONE of the hot dishes were served hot despite my repeated pleas to the servers and the manager. Having had lukewarm appetizers and before ordering Entrees, I told both the server and the manager to please make sure that the Entrees were served hot. They were lukewarm at best. Disappointing!!! Made a reservation in the bar for HH. I was sat at a table next to the bar and was charged full price for everything. Everything was brought out together with no time between courses. I used to love HH here but each time I go it seems to get worse. Time for something new!
we had dinner reservations for 5:45. We sat at 5:30pm. We did not get our dinner till 8:30 pm. We asked 4 different times for the bread that they bring to the table and never brought it because we were starving. I then walked up to the manager and he brought it. Our appetizers and dinner still took over two hours. We have been to this restaurant before and NEVER had his experience! The restaurant was soooooo Loud! no one could what the other was saying.
