We have gone to J prime many times and always had a great experience. We were celebrating a birthday. Asked for a bottle of champagne and was warm, had to tell my server to bring more glasses, bring me more plates, please serve me again. I think at this level of restaurant I should NOT be telling my server what to do. My friend and I went to restaurant week and we had a reservation at 8:15 and show up a few minutes before and were told that they were running behind. We waiting 45 mins and then was offered a drink near the hostess stand and still didn’t have a table. After a few more minutes we were moved to the bar top and were ignored for awhile then had to flag someone down for at least an appetizer. We've frequented JPrime numerous times for special occasions or regular days when we feel like having phenomenal steak. We've always returned because the service is top-notch; as other reviewers have mentioned, the attentive service is what sets JPrime apart from other steakhouses and really elevates the dining experience to the next level. Came for 1 year wedding anniversary. Was disappointed immediately with not having to wait when I had a reservation on a Wednesday of all days. Ordered a NY Strip that tasted like a big piece of leather. If it weren’t for the manager doing a great job with customer service, I would have given this place 0 stars.

I typically experience fabulous service however this past visit was not the case. I had to ask for our server to come to our table. We waited over 20 minutes just for our drink order. We were celebrating my friend’s upcoming nuptials & it wasn’t the special experience I’m accustomed to @ J Prime.

This was not the normal dining experience we typically have when we dine at J-Prime. We did not receive an amuse bouche or a palate cleanser even though the waiter described it as he took our drink orders. In the past, the service from the J-Prime team is impeccable, however this time it was not. It this becomes more the norm, I will not be dining here nor recommend it to friends.

We were very disappointed with how crowded the restaurant was & had to have them box up our meal when they sat guests at the next table less than three feet away. At least they comped our meal, but the evening was ruined. Wish the management had used better judgement by imposing social distancing in their table layout!

The service was good but the food was horrible. The steak was undercooked sent it back and it was still undercooked. The manager suggested a different cut and that came out not much better and the flavor was bland and tough. Such a sad experience.
