Excellent; no complaints whatsoever.
A few years ago, Jack Pixley Sweeps built a new liner and replaced it inside the chimney for my wood burning stove. It was a complicated and expensive process to replace the chimney liner, but worth every penny, as it made my wood stove safe to use again. To keep the lifetime warranty for that liner, I have Jack Pixley come out every year to clean and inspect the chimney. The technician, Randy, was very professional. He took time to show me the inside of the cleaned chimney, did an inspection for any problems (found none), and helped solve a difficulty we were having with opening and closing the fireplace screen. Will definitely use Pixley in the future.
Job went very well. Work was performed on time professionally.
Went perfectly. Nice workmanship. The crew was very friendly and took extra care to explain what they were doing and why. Cleanup very good. Match of old brick to new brick was as good as could be expected. Old chimney was over 50 years old. Hard to get an exact match.
I moved into my house about 3 years ago and used the fireplace the first two winters, but then decided to have it inspected before using it again. It was clearly older, and I was a little concerned about safety and whether or not it needed cleaning/repairs. Prior to the appointment - Pixley sent out a reminder along with a photo of James, just so I'd know who to expect. The technician was very nice and helpful. Gave us tips and tricks for the wood stove. Will definitely use them again.
