Did not know that the Kia battery had its own warranty outside of the 10yr/100,000mile warranty. Turns out that the 2yr warranty (1yr free replacement-1yr prorated) begins when the battery was installed and not when the vehicle was purchased. My warranty expired by one month and it would have been nice to get a free replacement seeing that it expired by one month, but I had to pay another $180 for another low quality Kia battery.
