I always make time to come by Joey's DTLA after spending time at the Los Angeles Athletic Club. More importantly, on this occasion, I was blessed to meet the manager, Marcus. It truly takes management's care to show the staff's true power. Marcus exuded kindness, where nothing was too small to look out for people’s tables. To be fair there was a basketball game so it was extremely noisy but it didn’t bother me. The food was phenomenal! I had the Szechuan Chicken Lettuce Wraps, the Spaghetti Pomodoro spaghetti was good but them lettuce wraps though??? Sensational! For dessert we had the Individually wrapped Apple Pie and the Crème Brûlée Cheesecake. I don’t even like cheesecake but this one right here??? The hostess gave us a great table and our server was super nice but it took almost a half hour for our food to come out.
