Where do I begin..went there during our black Friday shopping. Walked in and was told they were short staffed so sat and waited to be seated. I ordered eggs, bacon and pancakes. The eggs had a scrambled texture and the pancakes were just absolutely gross. Idk what they use as batter but it was not good. We joked waffle house wouldn't do us this way. Lastly they brought the bill and it was 60+ dollars for 2 people. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
I didn't even get a chance to take a picture of my food because it was cold and my other family members were trying to figure out what was going on....It was super busy Sunday morning about 9:00 but that wasn't a good excuse since we waited patiently for our server to come take our orders! On october 27th 7:15am I showed up to pick up my order... And when i arrived 7 staff members of kekes were sitting outside... So when i walked to the door they said we arent open yet, there manager didnt show up to work yet... And they wouldn't be able to make food till abiut 830... Since there seems to be a line at Keke's in Town Center Parkway, JAX, I assume the breakfast would be excellent. After a 20 minute wait our party of three got seated. We ordered our drinks, 10 minutes plus passed and the waiter returned with our drinks. Seemed rather long for two waters, OJ and coffee. For the meal I ordered the eggs benedict. Seriously disappointed in my breakout outing this morning. My friend and I ordered breakfast and she wanted ONE pancake so we ordered a side pancake (there was a side of 5 silver dollar pancakes for $5 and some change). That ONE pancake was $8.00!! I was shocked, thought it was a mistake. Server should've told us there was a better way, and didn't inform us that it would be $8.00!!! A good server would've told us there is a more economical way to do that. I will not be a customer at Kekes ever again.
If you planing on having a nice day with the family don't go there. The staff is not welcoming , the food is below average and cold. There cups were chipped, and most important, the wait time. We went at 11:20 we got our food at 1 pm. ITS SO BAD I want to give a zero but that's not impossible so I give a one
10/16/2021 10:30am on our way home (South Carolina) from Universal Studios celebrating our son's 15 Birthday which happens to be Today. We stopped for breakfast at Keke's. The server was very nice and we ordered and the food looks very appealing. My son had chocolate pancake's he started chewing and said "what the heck is this".... It was a FREAKING bandaid off the cooks finger!!! Not to mention this being the gross. I don't complain or do reviews of this nature, but it's needed. Me and my partner waited 45 minutes after seating to receive our food. Our server was Anvar, who was pleasant but incapable of communicating the delay of our food and the TRUE reason why. To blame the kitchen/cooks for being backed up was a LIE, (and always used), when we saw tables, seated after us, receive food that was easily prepared in 10-15 minutes.
