This is an old facility and needs serious remodeling. I am curios as to how La Paloma has such a high rating. My rating could have easily been a 2 star, except for the assistance I received from Jennifer C., the nutritionist, my "night shift drug dealers" and specifically the excellent OT and PT specialists that worked with me every day of the 18 days I spent there. A 5 star facility close to TriCity Hospital and most stores including access to the freeway. We cannot expect facilities like this to be at a hospital's level; that is like comparing apples to watermelons. Friendly service, food is dependent on what you are used, staff are great! Everyone is cordial and happy from the receptionist to the housekeepers and the caregivers. Quality of care is wonderful. They have some superstars that are behind the scenes. Dana the therapist is an excellent worker. She goes above and beyond her duty. Adriana is my physical therapist. She is excellent at her job, and she almost has me walking again.

I would like to recommend La Paloma for a place to go for rehab. From the nurses like Lucy and Merik. To CNAs like Leslie, Marie and Erin. The department managers like Jennifer and Berry who are passionate about there jobs. I have deep appreciation for the Rehab department all the staff are excellent at what they do. All the staff desire great praise.

I received excellent care at this facility, including physical therapy & occupational therapy. The staff was very helpful, especially PT, Nursing, CNA, and the scheduling coordinator.

From the first tour, to the food available, to the beds being changed every day, to the friendly staff. The caring nurses and doctors. I highly recommend this facility. Can't say anything but good. Left my brother, Tim here a month ago. He couldn't even talk. Now he carries on conversations and he feeds himself. It's a miracle. Thank you La Paloma.

We had a family member staying here. We found most of the staff to be very helpful and accommodating. We had to seek them out but they would step up. It seemed clean and pleasant in the dining room and the back patio and garden was very peaceful. Unfortunately the case manager was stern, unfriendly and wasn't interested in being kind. She left a bad impression on the entire stay.

My father recuperated and rehabilitated at La Paloma after a stroke and a bad fall. He returned home in high spirits today. I feel compelled to write this review because my father was given exceptional 5 star care. The nursing staff was professional and attentive. The therapists rallied around him, helping him progress and maintain motivation. I even noted that the administrator had left his card with my father.
