It was the worst few days of my life. The nurses are unprofessional and aggressive. The main doctor is threatening, the group talk isn't helpful at all and everything has a textbook feeling to it. No one has one on one help nobody is given real treatment it is just a temporary restraint for people in need of help. I watched a nurse body slam a young guy for not cooperating. I watched a girl with bruises and cuts get intimidated by a nurse and screamed at to stop talking. I watched bullying being ignored, sexual harassment, r... read more

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. My daughter and I agreed that inpatient treatment would be the best for her, so we selected this place because our first choice no longer accepted our insurance. We were both hopeful initially, however that hope quickly disappeared. The staff there DO NOT care about the patients whatsoever. I recieved 1 phone call that provided no information on my daughter. I had to contact another facility to help me find out what was going on with her since the LakeView staff was clearly too... read more

I ended up there for three days because of a misunderstanding. They released me when they realized I wasn't in any trouble. In the meantime, I was in a center with people who spontaneously broke into song (like they were performing), people who had serious anger problems and occasionally were drug out by staff to "somewhere" to cool off, and a few people who made sense (not many). I DID NOT FEEL SAFE THERE. It was worse than the movie, "Cuckoo's Nest." The food was not great (but hospital food rarely competes with homem... read more

STAY AWAY!!! Can't believe what we just experienced with my teenage daughter. So many things completely wrong about this place. The experience was completely different from what they represented it would be. Here are just a few examples: 1. I was told they would do a simple "TSA-style" pat-down search on my daughter when she was admitted. No big deal, right? Well you can imagine my shock and disbelief when I later learned that they did a full strip search on her and made her bend over and cough "so we can see if... read more

This facility is dangerous. They are understaffed, they violated my HIPPA rights and were found to be guilty of that as well after an investigation. My medical information and medical equipment was given to another patient who was released from the facility. This is DANGEROUS. The check-in process was abnormally fast for me, which is different from the reviews I've read. I guess if you show up on a Saturday, you'll be admitted, but you won't see a Doctor until Monday. I drove myself to this facility based on the info... read more

First of all, I tried to give 0 Stars but the system wouldn't allow it. As we drive away from this (enter your preferred expletive here) facility, I am compelled to immediately write a review. I will try to make it as concise and to-the point as possible, but the jist of it is, Lakeview put my mother in grave danger. She is a heart-transplant survivor and they knew that when they agreed to take her. Mind you, when I found out from Northeast Georgia Medical Center that they were transferring her there, I BEGGED them not to.... read more

I wish I could give this a 2 1/2. Unfortunately, I can't. I was an inpatient here back in early April for severe anxiety. I was in the adolescent unit. If your like me, you don't get yelled at. By definition of "me" is calm, quiet, funny, etc. I can understand why they may be strict with the ones who cannot control themselves, but I cannot comprehend with the fact that they make fun of us. It's unacceptable. Yes, the staff may yell a lot, their interpretation of how to get the point across, but that doesn't mean you have to ... read more

Horrible experience. They treat you like you are in jail. Many patients not getting their meds as ordered, and having RN behind metal window door shut it on their faces. Their website is extremely deceptive, no one gets to enjoy views of lake, decking...smokers do get taken out to concrete exit area. One phone for 18 patients, with very limited access. Visiting hours only 1 hour twice a week. Staff very insensitive in general. They do not follow their schedule, most groups facilitated by MHA's (orderlies) with no formal trai... read more
