This place can burn in all honesty. They yelled at me for defending myself against one of the other patients, and kept me longer for asking to talk with someone. They refused to take me serious when I said that the reason I made an attempt was because of my gender dysphoria, and they said that I "just needed family time" when my family quite literally yelled at me for bleeding on the floor when my mom hit me and gave me a nosebleed. They ignored when I needed to get headache medication for a migraine and said "I'll need to g... read more
this place sucks nuts!!! for real, though. i stayed here for 6 days and only ONE time did we go to the gym. The place was also dirty and i was served RAW chicken. This place really reeks.
this place lies, they tell you your kid will get out monday, then it's wednesday and now it's till friday. they keep them in there for days for nothing just to start working with them a day before they are supposed to leave, then tell you they need to stay longer. the kids shouldn't have to suffer staying there longer just because the staff doesn't know how to work. and all the pictures of the "happy" kids on their website are stock images i've seen the same pictures on every mental health site.
This place is not fit to be named a hospital. They tried to keep me for 9 days when I came in voluntarily. They would not let us have water, the food was inedible, and the bed was a wooden box with a mat that was thinner than the width of my hand. I told them I could not sleep because of the bed and they put me on insomnia medication. I don't have insomnia. The insomnia medication was not helping me sleep and they decided to double the dose. When I had arrived, no one knew my medical history or why I was there in the first p... read more
Lakeview Behavioral is violating human rights. My daughter has completed the 1014 form to be discharged and since she completed it on a Saturday she was told it would have to wait until Monday and once they entered it in the system, it could be another 72 hours to be discharged. A patient rights should not be handcuffed by a computer system and weekend hours. This organization is violating human rights and taking advantage of the system by milking every dollar from the insurance company. They are holding her against her ... read more
DO NOT go to this hospital. I was inpatient for 7 days, and the care was pretty much non-existent. I got more from talking to the other patients than I did any of the staff. I didn't see a therapist, and there was one or two groups daily. The rest of the time we were left staring at the TV. The staff basically ignores you unless you cause trouble, and then don't want to deal with you. The food is horrendous. It was never hot, and was basically unrecognizable. If you like playing, guess what meat this is? Then, this is the pl... read more
Was inpatient, didn't ask to come was forced by ER on 10-13! With no insurance. They had me in a small dirty room for 4 hours waiting to sign papers while you're out of it still. They take all your stuff. As soon as you come to your unite they take vitals. Staff was rude as hell, besides a couple of people . Over all they do not care or not have compassion. They come in your room unannounced to take blood at 4 am the first or second night. You sleep on gym mat mattresses with plastic pillows, and thin ass blankets, they lea... read more
On my first day there a staff member screamed at me for crying. The next day I watched three different people get sedated for symptoms that this hospital was advertised to help with. I was involuntarily admitted, but if anyone has a choice in where they go, don't go here.
My mom was admitted here on a 10-13. We were given visiting hours that were limited until she was eventually discharged. The staff was disengaged, not empathetic and disorganized. I called many times and eventually reached one nurse that explained how my mom was doing so far. She mentioned that a case manager would reach me. She had mentioned the family would have a session with the case manager and that the case manager would let a family member know when she would be discharged. One time I even got transferred to a random ... read more
