My daughter is at Lakeview and getting terrible care. I asked to talk to the doctor and supervisor several times but nothing. My 14-year old daughter said she is coming home in a day but no OFFICIAL notice from the staff or exit strategy or care. Will she hurt herself again?

I was there at the end of October and the plastic foam we slept on only had one thin sheet and one thin blanket and we could NOT have another sheet or another blanket! If this were the summertime I might could understand the logic but I could never get comfortable at night or sleep at night due to being cold. I asked the nurse and she said she would get me a sheet but I had to give it back to her early the next morning so they would not know!! 0 if I could. Do not let your loved one go there. It's horrible. They care nothing about the patients. I had a loved one there by no choice of ours. Had a door thrown at them. They left one patient in their room screaming cursing soiling the bed on purpose. My child could not get in the room. Refused to find another room. I called because of their safety and they did nothing. Only reason they got another room is someone left. Stayed in intake 24 hours for no reason. The staff ignores you. Sit around making jokes. This place was horrible chased me around with a shot , held my arms down forced me to get one , was just making it seem like people were crazy I got admitted in there for no reason some of the things we seen in there were horrible they didn't care about us they was giving us weird medicine and everything else it was horrible, DO NOT RECOMMEND....... This place will have you loosing your whole mind for real.

This place is awful. I was both Inpatient and Outpatient. Inpatient was short staffed but the staff did the best they could. I was 2 weeks into a 6 week Outpatient Program, when LAKEVIEW CANCELLED THE PROGRAM WITHOUT NOTICE, WITHOUT ANY INFORMATION ON WHAT TO DO NEXT. This is a MENTAL HEALTH FACILITY. A nurse who came on the job found out that the program was closed and TOOK THE INITIATIVE to call program participants. The parent company was supposed to call participants to get referrals for other places. Never happened. ... read more

This place can burn in all honesty. They yelled at me for defending myself against one of the other patients, and kept me longer for asking to talk with someone. They refused to take me serious when I said that the reason I made an attempt was because of my gender dysphoria, and they said that I "just needed family time" when my family quite literally yelled at me for bleeding on the floor when my mom hit me and gave me a nosebleed. this place sucks nuts!!! for real, though. i stayed here for 6 days and only ONE time did we go to the gym. The place was also dirty and i was served RAW chicken. This place really reeks.

this place lies, they tell you your kid will get out monday, then it's wednesday and now it's till friday. they keep them in there for days for nothing just to start working with them a day before they are supposed to leave, then tell you they need to stay longer. the kids shouldn't have to suffer staying there longer just because the staff doesn't know how to work. and all the pictures of the "happy" kids on their website are stock images i've seen the same pictures on every mental health site.

This place is not fit to be named a hospital. They tried to keep me for 9 days when I came in voluntarily. They would not let us have water, the food was inedible, and the bed was a wooden box with a mat that was thinner than the width of my hand. I told them I could not sleep because of the bed and they put me on insomnia medication. I don't have insomnia. The insomnia medication was not helping me sleep and they decided to double the dose.
