I was a patient here, couldn't open the windows, kids always fighting with staff, low-key sucked but the FOOD was good :3 kind of. It was low-key a joke, all of the kids were having sex n stuff it was low-key funny, like a reality TV show. The beds sucked, the showers had flatworms, and we could barely even see the sewage lake from the windows. Also, they barely let us in our rooms, and some zesty male staff said my panic attacks were fake. I loved all of the other staff, Ms.Casey, Ms.Jada, and Ms.Jinnae being my favorites. ... read more

this place is horrible and very unprofessional especially the staff not one male insight all women that didn't know what they was doing they have no interest at all in helping no one just a back and forth miscommunication doping people with medicine they have no security no police they have no one watching out for them no safety measurements they allow things to be done without parents consent and did I say ghetto the staff act like they from the hood my child was worser than she was before she got there Dont Go Here At All

zero out of zero wouldn't recommend. When I was admitted I waited over an hour in a room by myself to see someone to talk to me and bring me to the unit. We sat in a common area all day except to eat lunch downstairs or go to the gym if we could. We were punished for being too loud so half the time we couldn't go to the gym. I was seen by a doctor maybe twice in my stay. there was absolutely no help that I got out of my stay. My daughter is at Lakeview and getting terrible care. I asked to talk to the doctor and supervisor several times but nothing. My 14-year old daughter said she is coming home in a day but no OFFICIAL notice from the staff or exit strategy or care. Will she hurt herself again?

I was there at the end of October and the plastic foam we slept on only had one thin sheet and one thin blanket and we could NOT have another sheet or another blanket! If this were the summertime I might could understand the logic but I could never get comfortable at night or sleep at night due to being cold. I asked the nurse and she said she would get me a sheet but I had to give it back to her early the next morning so they would not know!! I do not expect the comforts of home but I would like to have a warm bed to sle... read more

0 if I could. Do not let your loved one go there. It's horrible. They care nothing about the patients. I had a loved one there by no choice of ours. Had a door thrown at them. They left one patient in their room screaming cursing soiling the bed on purpose. My child could not get in the room. Refused to find another room. I called because of their safety and they did nothing. Only reason they got another room is someone left. Stayed in intake 24 hours for no reason. The staff ignores you. Sit around making jokes. This place was horrible chased me around with a shot , held my arms down forced me to get one , was just making it seem like people were crazy I got admitted in there for no reason some of the things we seen in there were horrible they didn't care about us they was giving us weird medicine and everything else it was horrible, DO NOT RECOMMEND....... This place will have you loosing your whole mind for real.

This place is awful. I was both Inpatient and Outpatient. Inpatient was short staffed but the staff did the best they could. I was 2 weeks into a 6 week Outpatient Program, when LAKEVIEW CANCELLED THE PROGRAM WITHOUT NOTICE, WITHOUT ANY INFORMATION ON WHAT TO DO NEXT. This is a MENTAL HEALTH FACILITY. A nurse who came on the job found out that the program was closed and TOOK THE INITIATIVE to call program participants. The parent company was supposed to call participants to get referrals for other places. Never happened. ... read more

This place can burn in all honesty. They yelled at me for defending myself against one of the other patients, and kept me longer for asking to talk with someone. They refused to take me serious when I said that the reason I made an attempt was because of my gender dysphoria, and they said that I "just needed family time" when my family quite literally yelled at me for bleeding on the floor when my mom hit me and gave me a nosebleed.
